(Lol yeah almost)
(Lol yeah almost)
Nathan looked down at Anna, concerned. "What's happening?"
(Who’s Anna)
‘it… It’s nothing.” i said I hissed again and grabbed my side
(I'll be on a few times again tonight and tmr morning but I'm gone for a week after that. You guys can act as Nathan while I'm gone, or just drag him around)
(oh and sorry I meant Maddie)
"Maddie, what can I do to help?" he asked nervously.
(Yep that’s all good)
“I just… ne..need some wa..water” i said as i sat down. “That…usually helps”
Nathan rushed over to the lake and scooped up some water. He knelt down next to Maddie and gently poured it into her mouth. "Better?" he asked softly.
“Thanks” I said. I rubbed at my side
"What was that?"
I looked around nervously. “When the people at my old home did what they did, the tried to remove my magic.” I said
Crash bristled. "That's stupid. Those jerks. If I ever see them, I'mma punch 'em." (I'll just have my characters do something whenever I'm on after this)
(Cool, Sorry i was in art). “It doesn’t matter. The pain is getting less, as time goes on) I winced as I touched one particular place.
Crash tilted his head. "How do you even take away magic? Is it attached to a part of your body?"
“They inserted a tube into my heart, to connect to my soul. It’s supposed to take it away but it didn’t work. every now and then the pain from it comes back.” I massaged my sides avoiding eyes.
"Oh." Crash leaned back, thinking that over. "Good thing they didn't have one of the Shadow People with them. Those guys can take out souls and eat them."
“Th..they did.” I stammered. “They were going to try that but there was an accident, and when that happened I escaped”
"Good. Of course you did. You're smart and tough." Crash nodded as if agreeing with himself. "So, uh….do you need help making the food, then?"
I chuckled, “Yes thanks, I know you’ll want some” I smiled as if nothing had happened and if I wasn’t in pain. Truthfully, the pain lasted a few days, but I knew it would calm down soon. I stood up and move to the kitchen.
"I'm not very good at cooking," he warned, following you. "Maybe I should chop things or something."
“You can chop some vegetables” I said. I was planning on making a stew, with some of the leftover deer and rabbit I had so keeping Crash away from the pot would be helpful
"Ok." Crash found a knife and began carefully cutting up some carrots. He handled the knife clumsily, as if he wasn't used to using one. "Maddie, do you live alone like this all the time?"
“Yeah.” I said heating up the stove “You get used to it after a while.” I placed a pot on the stove then looked at Crash “Crash! That’s not how you do it” he was holding the knife upside down “Here like this” I showed him what to.
I started to hum a tune
