Jesse watches as the other adults take the child into the RV, trying her best not to care too much about the fact that they were in her vehicle without her watching to make sure they didn't try anything stupid.
She had the keys to the RV in her pocket so she wasn't too worried, as she was only out for a few seconds.
Jesse looks back to the mans car where it was parked as she holsters her pistol, looking at the cat whining in the window. Ghabiun starts to growl, his pointed cut ears standing up straight and his eyes locked onto the feline. Her eyes scroll down to the gun he had left on the ground before she grins, bending over and picking it up.
She looks over the gun before turning and heading towards the RV, stepping inside only to hear arguing.
Jesse gives them a truly disgusted look, one especially at Shaun "you argue? Really? You try to take care of child when you dont even know how to not act like one!" she exclaims.
"Verdammte Scheiße! " She says to Ghabiun as he jumps into the rv, as if complaining to him made her feel better about how annoyed she was.
"i have to babysit four people now!" she complains to him. Though there wasn't a fourth person around was there? (hints to the characters for Cherry haha)
Jesse lets Ghabiun free of the leash and he immediately walks up to the child, sniffing him.
Cassius smiles "well im glad you appreciate it. I could use the help around here anyway though" he explains, his eyes focusing on the circular ripples in the water as a small green leave floats down from above, landing softly in the water. Only to be swept up by Phoenix and Ophelia's splashes, drowning in the water and swept up by the soft current.
Cassius wasn't one to get angry at someone unless that someone were himself. And even then, he just gets disappointed and sad. Maybe irritated yes.
The most Cass would be by Jax hunting himself was irritated if not worried about him.
Cassius was glad to have Jax for more reasons than helping out around the houses but he was sure Jax already knew that. If he didn't, Cass would show it. Show him that he was appreciated and important.. Even though he had only known him for a few days.
Jax was one of the only people he's found that was a friendly face. Though he wondered if Jax would have been friendly still if he hadn't needed help? People are different when they're desperate.
Cassius couldn't help but worrying about if the only reason Jax was sticking around was because he felt guilty about leaving or something like that. Or if deep down he was planning on hurting or stealing from them.
Obviously, Cassius was a little paranoid, but reasonably so with a child. There was never being too safe when it came to a childs safety.
But even still, Jax was trusted enough to sleep under his roof and to eat their food and he was sure as time goes on, Cassius would get to know him more and along that, came trust.
When the dog snaps at the water bug, Fia is splashes with a good bit of water, letting out a loud, high pitched giggle that makes Cass raise his eyebrows and want to plug his ears. He takes in a breath before letting out a long exhale.
"im all wet!!" she exclaims and Cass chuckles "as if you weren't already!?" he asks her with a smile. She lets out a long "uuugh!!" as she normally does before getting distracted by another thing. He just hoped she wouldn't see the crawdads in the water or else she would most likely let out an ear deafening scream.
maybe i should warn her so she doesn't…
Cassius is brought out of his thoughts once again by Jax as he looks back to his friend. His grim words bothered Cassius.
Does he not think things can be good without having to be ruined? he thinks to himself, finding it sad that Jax thought that way. It was depressing and heavily reflected on how his life had been going up until this point.
"yeah.." Cassius replies shortly, not wanting to talk about it anymore. He leans forward to grab a pair of pants from the basket and begins to wash them.
"i need to fix the clothes line. I noticed it was brought down by the rain last night." he says, changing the subject. Cassius was definitely one to hold onto the good moments in his life as much as possible, not letting anything turn ugly unless it had to. And even then, he still holds onto hope a little too much.
