(Okay)
(Okay)
(I'm back!)
"That was a fun night," Aubrey said softly as she followed Liam throughout the apartment. "Anything else coming back?"
"Uh… no not really but that couch," He pointed to a black leather sofa, that looked like it was a few decades old, "My… grandma gave it to me as a moving in gift."
Aubrey smiled at him. "That's okay. You aren't going to remember everything at once. I'm sure it will come slowly. Well, at first anyway,"she gently assured him.
"Hopefully," He said, walking into the kitchen, "Was I that lazy that I didn't go out and by food?" He asked, looking in the fridge to find barely anything.
"Well, you're pretty busy. What with college and a job and all," Aubrey reminded him. "It's hard to grocery shop when you've got finals to study for and a job to juggle."
“What job?” He asked, shutting the door and leaning on the counter top.
(…Idk what he should do…
You can pick, unless you want me to.)
"Do you remember it at all?" Aubrey asked, not wanting to push him but wanting to see if he could remember.
(Uhhh… first thing that comes to mind is…)
“Uh…” He racked his useless brain, “Wasn’t I a bar tender?” He asked
(Lol.)
Aubrey's smile grew. "You were– you are! Free drinks may not have been such a great idea before painting," she laughed.
Aidan laughed, “Probably, oh well.”
"Yeah… It was fun, though. I mean, what I can remember from that night," Aubrey reminisced.
He smiled, “Do-do we have classes tomorrow?” He asked.
Aubrey shook her head. "No. Neither of us does," she informed him.
“Okay, that’s good.” He said, walking to sit down in the couch.
Aubrey sat beside Liam, crossing one leg over the other. "Are you hungry? Do you want me to make something?"
He smiled, “I mean, there doesn’t look to by anything in this house. That’s one thing I should change, go shopping at least once a week.”
"I'll hold you to that," Aubrey laughed. "I'm sure I can find something to make."
“If you really want to, I can remember how to cook a few things.”
Aubrey patted Liam's knee before standing. "Well, good. That's good. Do you want to help me, then?"
“Sure, if there’s anything even in the cupboards.” He said, standing and heading back into the kitchen.
"Well, let's see…" Aubrey said, looking around. She found a box of noodles and some marinara sauce and pulled them out. "Does spaghetti sound okay?"
“Sounds fine, even if it wasn’t it would have to do.” He said, smiling.
Aubrey chuckled. "Yeah, it would. How about you start on the sauce, and I can do the noodles?"
He nodded, grabbing a pot out and a few tomato’s to put in the sauce.
