She smiled gently at him. "Well, let's go then," she said, leading him out the door.
She smiled gently at him. "Well, let's go then," she said, leading him out the door.
Liam followed her, not knowing where to go but hoped at some point he would remember something familiar.
Aubrey walked Liam over to the front desk so he could get signed out. Once everything was finished that needed to be done, she brought him outside. A short walk took them to her maroon Toyota Corrola.
"And this is my baby. My dad bought it for me on my sixteenth birthday; handed me the keys during my Sweet 16 party," she reminded him with a smile. "I was so excited, and the smile never left your face."
Liam smiled back, “Sounds like it was one hell of a party if your dad got you a car.” He said, running his hand over the top of the car
Aubrey shrugged. "Not really… You were the only person who actually showed up," she admitted quietly. "But it was still fun to hang out with you!"
“Really? Why didn’t anyone show?” He asked, he vaguely remembered some… party with her there but nothing more then that.
Aubrey bit her lip and looked at the ground. "I, uh, was not necessarily very popular in high school… Painfully shy… And I didn't really invite many other people…" she admitted softly.
He gave her a small smile, “You can’t help it if you’re shy, I’m sure it was great, I mean I kinda remember some.. party or something with you there but nothing more.”
Aubrey glanced up at him, smiling back. "You do? That's so great! It's a start, at least."
He nodded, “Yeah, it’s a start.” He smiled a little more.
(I need to sleep. Lol.)
Aubrey continued to just smile at him for a moment before she remembered that she was taking him home. She blinked and shook her head, wiping the smile from her face as she unlocked the car and climbed into the driver's seat.
You need to stop staring at him! He's your best friend, so just stop it!
(If you need sleep then go to sleep)
A little confused at what Aubrey just did, although he was confused altogether, he walked round to the other side of the car and sat in the passenger seat.
(I fell asleep. Lol.)
"Let's go, yeah?" Aubrey breathed, starting the car and buckling in.
(Aha)
“Yeah, yeah let’s go.” He said, looking out the window.
(Shall we do a car ride scene or should we skip?)
Aubrey pulled out of the parking lot and started toward Liam's apartment. She hoped that seeing it would trigger something, anything. As long as he could start to remember things, that would be all right.
(Time skip, I think)
Liam didn’t try to make conversation, he was to busy trying to see things that he remembered, nothing came to mind instantly. So he waited and still, there was nothing. Eventually they pulled into the car park of an apartment building.
Aubrey killed the engine and looked over to Liam. "Here we are. This is where you live," she explained. "Do you want to go inside now?"
He nodded, “Yeah, yeah I vaguely remember this place.” He said.
"That's great," Aubrey said, smiling at Liam. She stepped out of her car and waited for him to get out before walking over to the door.
He followed, trying to remember anything more about this place.
(Sorry gtg, seeya later)
(Ag, darn. Okay.)
Why did Aubrey have a key to Liam's apartment? Who knows, but she did.
She unlocked the door and stepped inside.
Liam smiled as a few memories came back to him, “I-I remember a few things.” He said, looking at a paint splattered wall in the entrance, “Didn’t we get drunk one night when we tried to paint this?”
Aubrey laughed. "We did! That was the first – and last! – time I ever got drunk," she shook her head, smiling at the memory. "I swore to never drink again after that night. Especially when I woke up with a splitting headache!"
(I got to go. Be back in about an hour.)
“Yeah, the hangover was terrible.” He smiled. At least he remembered something. The first of his lost memories. He walked further into the house, trying to see if anything else rung a bell.
