"Some juice would be good." Night said calming down.

“Here.” Teresa said pushing a glass towards her “go crazy!”

Night laughed as she drank some juice. "Cade?" Nykidia asked.

"What?" Cade asked a little forcefully, leaning against the wall next to the front door.

"What are your opinion on the queen?" Nykidia said. She was bored now that the commotion was over.

"She's a fancy a** piece of s**t queen with a large amount of money that I really want." Cade stated blandly.

“Thank god I thought you may have liked her even the tiniest bit!” Teresa said, visibly relaxing

Cade let out a loud laugh. "The only people like like the queen are the stuck up snobby rich people that aren't affected by the things she does. And I mean," He gestured to himself. "I don't think I fall under that category."

Teresa frowned and took another sandwich

Scarlet's heart thundered in her chest, her insides a mess of nerves and doubts, but on the outside she was a vision of calm and determination. They were almost to the gate now. Just a hundred metres more….

Virgil motioned for Scarlet to follow him. "I've been out this way a bunch." He whispers, making his way to a small hole in the gate. He pushed his bag through the hole and pushes Scarlet's too.

"Oh look we agree on something." Nykidia said smiling. "I want that gold. Teresa, Imagine how many hats I could buy." She said with stars in her eyes.

Cade rolled his eyes. "Hats? No thanks, I'll take something useful like food or a nice house."

"But think of the Hat's man. Forget buying them. I could make them! Like my dad used to. We could open a shop like he used to have!" Nykidia said excitedly.

"You do you." Cade chuckled, shaking his head.

"Well why not?" She asked Cade her hands on her hips.

Teresa smiled “how is he?” She asked about her dad

"He's doing OK. He's getting a little sad though. He wants to be able to wear his hat out in public but we'd get caught if he did. So we've been staying home a lot recently. He's been making more hats than ever but it's beginning to get a little hard to hid them all." she said pulling her hat down a bit.

Teresa smiled sadly “tell him to come visit!”

"I will when I get home." Nykidia sad as she finished of her sandwich. "How have the others been? I haven't seen them in a while."

“I haven’t left the house in over a month.” Teresa said quietly

"O my god. Girl you need to get out. You don't have to go into town but at least explore the forest man! It's spring and the flowers are blooming. The tree's are getting leafs and it is beautiful in the rain." Nykidia said shaking Teresa.

"I beg to differ. The rain is disgusting." Cade grumbled, gesturing to his soaked clothing.
