@PuffPoff
Cade jumped, holding his hands out as if trying to balance himself. "What in the actual hell was that? I know I was joking earlier, but now I really do think you guys are witches."

Teresa laughed “no we’re not witches, this cabin was enchanted when we bumped into it. It’s been a good house to us Since Alice.” She said sadly. Her father wrapped an arm around her “I used to be the king of clubs but now I’m just Teresa’s father.” He smiled
"Path? There's a path near here?" Nykidia said drying herself off. "I didn't know that. Did you know Teresa?"
"You will always be the king of clubs whether you are hiding in the woods or sitting on a throne," Nykidia said raising her voice slightly.
"Wait wait wait, back up." Cade shook his head as he spoke. "King of clubs?" In one swift motion, he took a step closer to the door and took out his knife. "What is the king of clubs doing in the middle of a forest? Are you trying to kidnap me and feed me to Queen Alice or something?"
"You will always be the king of clubs whether you are hiding in the woods or sitting on a throne," Nykidia said raising her voice slightly.
“Thank you Nykidia.” He smiled warmly. Then he frowned “watch your tone boy, I hate that witch more than you might. Why would I want to do any thing with her. Teresa took out her dagger as well “don’t threaten my father. And no Nykidia, I didn’t know that, the only path I know of is about a mile away.”
"Fine. I'll be watching you. One wrong move and your throat gets cut." Cade nodded, even though he still wasn't too trusting of these people. He put his knife away and turned to the girl who's name he didn't know. "Are you sure the path is a mile away? Maybe I'm more lost than I think I am."
“There may be a secret path made but the only main path I know of is a mile away. Maybe more.” Teresa said sitting back down and biting her sandwich
"Well s**t." Cade grumbled. "There's no way I'll get back home before dark."
“You are welcome to stay in the spare room. Nykidia can stay with me.” Teresa said, sheathing her dagger
Scarlet shuddered as he drew the fear out of her, an acute pain spiking her heart. All of a sudden, she felt oddly better, calm. “Alright. Do your thing, and lets go.”
"No, that's creepy." Cade said bluntly. "I just met you guys. I'll just stay by the door, thanks."
"What's creepy?!?" Nykidia shouted. "Literary nothing we have said is 'creepy'. Is offering a spare bedroom 'creepy' where you come from because where I come from it's called being polite." Nykidia huffed at Cade. He had every right to be suspicious but he still didn't have to be rude about it.
"Well, you live in a house in the middle of nowhere. The king of clubs is here, and your house can change it's appearance with the flip of a switch. To be honest, I don't even know why I'm trusting you guys." Cade replied, looking outside to see if the rain had stopped yet. "Look, we don't even have to talk to each other. Just let me stay inside until the rain passes."
"Well your being rude right now. Can I throw him out?" Nykidia asked the King. "God. I'm the one that wanted to help him out and now I want to throw him back out into the rain." Nykidia thought.

"Okay." He said, he drew his dagger. "Do you have any weapons? You may not need it, but just in case." He muttered as he flipped around his dagger and surveyed the area.
//Topaz, Duskie, can they bump into Phoebe on their way out?
I don't care//
Yeah sure!)
Scarlet nodded, pulling a knife from its sheath at her belt. She’d changed into a simpler, more practical dress earlier, which made this easier, but she’d been planning on donning a pair of trousers before they scraped. There had been no time for that, unfortunately.

“The rain hasn’t stopped since yesterday night, what makes you think that it’s going to stop now?” Teresa asked from her place on the floor, her sandwich in hand. “And the house doesn’t change, it’s only an illusion.” She said
"Fine." Nykidia said sitting down. She started eating another sandwich. Night started giving Cade the evil eye.

"Let's go." He pulled some fears, mostly ones about the dark, and wrapped both him and Scarlet into an illusion of the night. He crept forewards, hoping no guards came.

“Night stop it, do you want something?” Teresa asked (can Teresa and night also be friends or is night only a friend to you?)
(Nope. Night is friends with anyone that Nykidia is friends with. I meant to include her in more but I didn't. Night will be included more from now on.)
(Ok!!)
