Riverpaw slid off of Sofie's back, stumbling a bit as she regained her land-legs. She shook her fur and glanced around, pressing herself to Sofie's side.

Lia shuddered and worked her claws out of the wolfs thick fur before jumping gracefully to the ground, "First wolves, then weird bird thing, then oh I don't know I need food and a nap."
I sighed inwardly, All of the berry bushes have been uprooted and the fruit from the trees have all fallen. I frowned as I looked around. “We should go farther away as soon as we’re rested and fed.”
"W-wait, where are we gonna go?" Riverpaw asked, looking up at the sky. A few birds flew overhead and joined the other animals.
“That way.” I pointed with my paw to the shiny thing I had seen.
Lia's ears perked up, "Shiny?"
"Shiny." Riverpaw echoed, looking in the direction Sofie was pointing. "B-but what if there's something dangerous o-over there?"
“You’ve got me!” I yipped in excitement and wagged my tail, “The tremors have stopped so let’s walk! But I am a bit tuckered out from carrying you guys…” I grinned sheepishly.
(AHHHHHH IM GETTING BRACES TODAY)
(AAAAAAAA WHY)
Riverpaw nodded, taking a seat on one of the branches of the fallen tree. "Sorry." She said to Sofie.
(TAKE PAIN KILLERS)
( It probably won’t hurt me as bad as my sister. She has a cross bite 😬 )
“What for?” I gave a nervous bounce.
"F-for um..for y-you having to carry all of us, I-I guess." Riverpaw's small claws raked gently at the tree bark.
“It was no big deal,” I laughed a little before continuing, “Should we wait until morning or should we leave now?”
Riverpaw looked around, watching some of the animals, and she gave a small shrug, tilting her head a bit. Then she nodded towards the shiny area Sofie had spotted.
“Onwards!” I barked and leapt forwards. Enthusiasm isn’t helping; no one seems happier. I guess the tradgedy was a little terrifying… I’ll have to try something else.
Riverpaw sighed, and carefully climbed from the fallen tree to follow Sofie.
Lia not wanting to be out done by a wolf gracefully ran to catch up.
I trotted slower than usual so that Lia and the pups could run with me. The shiny object wasn’t too far away, maybe a few miles. The terrain was hard to cross, so it took more time to reach our destination than it should have. Uprooted undergrowth, rocks, and fallen branches blocked the way.
( aha I can finally draw dragons )
(cooool)
Riverpaw growled lowly as a few plants and upturned roots followed her paws, causing her to trip here and there. She sighed and walked closer to Sofie, looking around cautiously.
I glanced back at Riverpaw, “You doin’ alright?”
Riverpaw nodded, stopping for a second to pull a small flower from her forepaw. "M-my stupid powers.." She muttered.
( *she ? ) I continued to jog, trying to hide my growing anxiety.
