@rot-baby-rot!
Cally covered herself and looked over at Andion. "What, are you gonna read to me, too?"
Cally covered herself and looked over at Andion. "What, are you gonna read to me, too?"
“No, is me reading a problem for you?” She asked, scowling at Cally.
"No!" Cally defended, curling up into a ball on the couch to get comfortable. "I was just asking a question. I'll sleep now."
“Yes, you should.” Andion said quietly, picking her book up again and continuing where she last left off.
Cally grumbled something unintelligible before closing her eyes and attempting to sleep.
(Should we timeskip?)
(Yeah, I think so)
It was raining the next morning. The sound of the rain hitting the roof gently. Andion was already awake and making tea quietly as to not wake Cally.
Cally groaned and shifted on the couch as she woke up. She rolled over a bit and let out a yelp as her body, practically cocooned in the blanket, hit the floor. She let out another quiet groan. "Ow."
Andion looked over her shoulder and chuckled a little, “You alright?” She asked.
"No." Cally said, staring at the ceiling. "Are you making something? It smells in here."
“Tea.” She said flatly, pouring it into a cup, “Want some or not?” She asked.
Cally wrinkled her nose in disgust. "Tea is gross." She said, hoisting herself back onto the couch.
“No, it isn’t.” Andion replied, sitting down across form Cally and taking a sip from the cup.
(I have to go to bed, so bye!)
"I mean, it smells good sometimes, but other times it's kind of…" Cally stuck her tongue out. "Bleh."
(Seeya!)
Andion shrugged, “Whatever you say.” She said, smiling a little.
"You have a pretty smile," Cally said, too tired to really think about what she was saying. She yawned and wrapped herself further in the blanket.
“What? No.” Andion shook her head and stopped smiling, turning to look out the window.
"You're not allowed to deny a compliment. That's not how compliments work." Cally said.
“Watch me.” She replied, taking another sip of her tea.
"I already am. If you'd like, I could tell you my observations." Cally said, sitting up straighter in an attempt to make herself look more scholarly.
“Fine. Tell me what you see.” Andion turned back to Cally and crossed on leg over the other, waiting.
"You have your own sense of morals, I assume, considering you broke some laws so that I wouldn't be dead yet killed a bunch of others without a second thought. You're resourceful, and know how to think on your feet. You have some sort of problem with your appearance, which I got from how in the past 24 hours when I've complemented you, because you either brushed it off or denied it. And you like tea, and that's gross." Cally said, looking smug.
Andion cocked her head to one side and tried to repress her smile, “Well, you’ve got a good eye.”
Cally grinned. "And you've got a good face."
“Stop that. Stop saying those things.” Andion said, standing and walking over to the window, running a hand through her hair.
"Why? What's so bad about them?" Cally asked, untangling herself and standing up. "Do you think I'm lying?"
