(Ooooooh. Okay. I think I get it. I can't really see the map that well on my computer, but I'll look at it better on my phone later.)
Cally's eyes widened and she stumbled backwards. She tried to repress the panic welling in her chest. "You're- you're a-"
(Okay, cool)
“Witch?” Andion finished the sentence for her, “Correct.” He added, her smile fading and her nails turned back to their normal length.
Cally tried for a smile, but it looked forced at best. "Any way you can just pretend you didn't see me and I can be on my way?"
“Girl, you’re injured and crossed into my territory, I can’t let you go. I’m doing you a favour by not killing you.” Andion uncrossed her arms and clasped them behind her back and paced back and forth in front of the girl, “What’s your name?”
"Callista. Callista Walker." Cally answered, watching the witch pace. "My friends call me Cally though."
“Callista, what am I going to do with you…” Andion mused, still pacing, “If I take you to Pryvlyn and you’re spotted then you’ll be killed, I’ll be killed for helping you but if you stay out here you’ll die as well.”
"Fun." Cally said. "Couldn't you just hide me? With a spell or something?"
“Not how it works, now that you’ve crossed by law and can’t spell you to hide you, it has to be done the old fashioned way. The law helps us find people who are hiding without out permission.” She explained.
(I’ve gtg for a bit, be back soon)
(Okay, bye)
"Great." Cally muttered. "So, do I just bleed out or is there somewhere I can go?"
Andion rubbed her face with her hands, “I’m going to regret this but…” She sighed, “I can take you to Pryvlyn for a few days, once you’re better I can take you to another territory…”
She brightened immediately. "Really?" She had a hopeful expression on her face, though it didn't reach her eyes. "So you won't kill me?"
“No, but step out of line and I will,” Andion said, turning to Cally, “We need to be careful but once we are in the city I can take you to my home and you can stay there.”
"So, is this like a hostage situation then?" Cally asked, smiling. "If it is, do I at least have the liberty of knowing my captor's name?"
“Andion. Andion Rurrow.” She said, flipping her hood over her head and turned to the direction they were to walk, “Come, we don’t want to waste the light.”
Cally walked slowly towards her, wincing at the movement. Her arm felt like it was about to fall off any minute, even if the pain had numbed considerably since she first got it. "Andion?" She asked quietly as they walked.
“Yes?” She replied, turning over her shoulder to look at Cally for a moment, before back on the road ahead, the peaks of the castle growing bigger as they drew closer.
"I think I'm going to pass out." She said simply, dragging her feet forward and trying not to trip. She felt dizzy, her mind cloudy. She stumbled a bit. "That, or I just wanted to say your name."
Andion stopped and turned back, “Humans…” She muttered, as she picked Cally up bridal style.
Cally suppressed a pained noise as her arm was jostled. "Ow." She said, squirming in Andion's grip.
“The more you move, the more pain you’ll be in. It’s not that much longer until you can lie down, alright?” Andion said, sending a glare Cally’s way.
Cally let out a groan and stopped moving. "Aren't witches supposed to be murderers and stuff?"
“Do you want me to kill you because that’s the impression I’m getting.” She said, coldly.
"I want to not be in pain, if that's an option." Cally responded, closing her eyes.
“Then the quicker we get to the my house, the quicker you’ll be healed.” Andion said, shifting her cloak so it covered most of Cally as they entered the city, taking the backstreets.
