(Surprise surprise it’s locked 😃)
(Surprise surprise it’s locked 😃)
The door doesn’t budge when Tseth tries to open it. It’s locked.
(Damn 😔)
(❤️)
Salmook squeals as the dart pierces his chest. He doubles over in pain, fumbling to tear it out. The dart must be barbed - it's not coming out. A surprised squeak escapes his throat as the jabby-girl picks him up.
"No jabbery! No!"
He's getting louder and wilder, thrashing like crazy in her grasp. It's a mess of snaggly teeth and unkept nails.
"NO!"
Salmook whines as he feels himself going limp. There's a half-hearted kick at the jabby-girl's chest, but it's already hard to see. Before everything goes dark, he sinks he teeth into what he thinks is a shoulder. Or maybe it's an arm? He doesn't know, but he latches on like his life depends on it. Another nightmare is the last thing he wants right now.
(As soon as he gets the chance, Salmook is soo ripping Sylvia's face off-)
Sylvia pays no attention to Salmook, not even when he bites her. She just goes into Salmook’s room, tosses him on the bed, and walks out, closing the door behind her so it locks.
Daphne looks around for a moment, then kicks off her shoes and lays down on her side. Might as well try to get some sleep. She stares at the wall, really disassociating more than actually sleeping. But if I sleep, then I might have a nightmare- no, I definitely will. And that would be loud and annoying. Should probably stay awake, at least for tonight. She huffs, then rolls onto her back and stares at the ceiling.
Tseth tries to kick the door down, but it doesn’t budge. Great. What if I’m trapped in here for longer than tomorrow like- shut up, I’ll be fine. He lays on his bed, staring at the ceiling. He closes his eyes, but he knows he won’t get any sleep.
(I feel bad for Francis because M hasn't been on for a while- what do we do when the turn system is back up?)
(Wait, wouldn't that be now, since (almost) everyone's in their rooms?)
(We’re trying to figure something out. Waiting for M to respond to a PM.)
(I’m not gonna put up a turns system now- I’m gonna wait to do that until I’m sure it won’t cause this rp to immediately die like the rest of them)
(Anyway I’ll just say Francis was yeeted to his room for now and maybe torment Daphne since I have to write something anyway cough I mean what)
(I’m just gonna do a real quick timeskip-)
Daphne continues staring at the ceiling for what feels like ages. She rolls over onto her side, and decides to rest her eyes for a few seconds.
(Pretend I wrote something violent, anyway it’s been a few hours and it’s probably morning woo)
Daphne thrashes around a bit in her sleep, sobbing and mumbling distressed pleas for mercy. “No- not again, no…” She suddenly starts yelling. “NO- NO!” She wakes up in a cold sweat and sits bolt upright, and she has a death grip on her arm. She covers her face with her hands and continues sobbing, cursing to herself. “Fucking idiot-”
Daphne cries to herself for a while, the looks around the room. There’s a change of clothes for her on the table. I guess it’s the morning- might as well get ready and pretend nothing happened. She wipes her tears and walks over to the table, picking up the clothes. It’s just a plain white t-shirt and jeans. She sighs, then starts getting ready for the day.
After Daphne changes, she stares at the scars on her arms. Everyone’s gonna ask questions. Well- except Tseth, but that’s only one person. Fucking fantastic.
Daphne looks up as the door opens. It’s Sylvia. “Time to come to the main room, Daphne.” Daphne nods reluctantly, then walks out of her room, still shaking visibly. She fidgets with her sleeves, clearly incredibly self-conscious.
It's been a another awful day… or night? Salmook's internal clock is off. What he does know is that he's been absolutely destroying his room since he woke up. He's torn the stuffing from his pillows, and there's more than a few bite marks in the table. He's starving and nothing in the room is edible.
There were clothes on the table - clothes that looked like the jabby-people's uniforms. The clothes are now on a pile on the floor, mostly untouched by Salmook's chaos. Sniffing, he looms over the pile. He bites into a shirt and pulls the opposite end away. The first few tries, the fabric slips through his teeth, but soon, the sleeve starts to rip.
He continues to chew through whatever clothes were left for him, slowly but steadily, and then he tears the scraps into more scraps. If the jabby-people want to make this hard for him, he'll make it hard for them, too, one shredded shirt at a time.
(It's too early in the morning for me to think of a half-decent nightmare sequence, so Salbaby is off the hook for now.)
(Splorkus - Actually, now that I think about it, I don't know jabby-lady's real name. Like there's Sylvia, Lucas, Undefined Man, and Undefined Woman.)
(Indeed- I’ll try to figure out their names soon but they probably won’t introduce themselves-)
(Undefined Woman is named Karen /hj)
Tseth didn’t sleep the entire night. He knew he wouldn’t, really. He couldn’t even tell if it was really night or day. He suddenly sits up when he hears yelling. That’s not good- sounds like Daphne. Door’s probably still locked…
He looks around the room and notices a change of clothes that wasn’t there before. Strange, since no one entered his room the whole night. Fuck if they think I’m going to wear that. He leaves them untouched.
He undoes his hair, taking out the various braids. He puts it up into a bun, seeing as re-doing it would take too long, especially without a mirror. He checks the reflection on the back of his metal hand. Eh, good enough. It’s not complete shit.
(Stop being an emo bitch for five seconds my guy)
(No.)
(Never)
(Ok)
(me wondering how long until he caves in and starts wearing the staff-given clothes)
Lucas lightly knocks on Tseth’s door, then opens it just a bit. “Tseth? Uh- it’s time to head back to the main room.” He walks away, leaving the door open just a crack so it doesn’t lock again.
