(What am I supposed to narrate, the goofy aah snoring that any author gives their characters?)
(crying noises Jesus I’ll stop then-)
Tseth sighs and looks down the hall. “I don’t know, but I’d rather find out than idly wait for weeks to find out what’s in store at the end.”
(see that’s what I was poking the chat for you melted fudgesicles)
Daphne looks down. “Fair enough. I wonder why they just kidnapped a bunch of random people for the sake of this thing…”
(im sorry i wasn’t sure if stubs wanted to respond or not)
“All I know is it probably isn’t good.” Tseth slows down walking a bit. “Do you know which room is yours?” He looks around the hallway a bit.
Daphne looks around, then sighs. “Nope.”
Lucas suddenly appears in the hallway, as if on command. “I’ll help you guys find your rooms, if you want-“
Salmook he grumbles at the jabby girl. Why did Tseth and his friend listen to the jabby-people? They want to go home, too, right?
Salmook spits at her, and he looks around for anything he could use as a weapon. The chairs are too heavy, and the table? Forget it. He reaches for his other pocket, but there's nothing there.
"Salmook not go. Why should listen to jabby-girl?"
He crosses his arms and pouts again. He's not going anywhere without a fight.
Tseth stares at Lucas for a moment. “Did you just appear- you know what, never mind. That would be helpful.” This place is creepy as fuck-
(At least he’s friendly)
(I mean yeah but he just teleported right after their forbidden conversation of Gotta Get Out)
Daphne blinks a few times, looking at Lucas, then mumbles, “That’s not creepy at all…”
Lucas notices both Tseth and Daphne are creeped out. “Ah, right- I’ll stop doing that. Sorry.” He points at two different doors. “This one’s Tseth’s, and this one is Daphne’s.” He looks back at the two of them. “If you have any more questions, feel free to ask me. Uh- probably best to ask tomorrow, though. You can’t be out of your rooms past sunset.” He looks around awkwardly, then walks away.
Sylvia sighs. Lucas isn’t here, I might as well do it now. She picks up her dart gun from the floor, then aims it at Salmook. “This is your fault for being stubborn.” She shoots Salmook with the dart gun, knocking him out, then picks him up and carries him to his room.
(True,)
(This poor child 😭)
(THE BABY-)
(NO NOW I HAVE TO WRITE ANOTHER NIGHTMARE SCENE SHIT-)
(you don’t have to)
(On the contrary! I am legally required to make my child suffer.)
Tseth narrows his eyes at the last bit of Lucas’s sentence. He looks down at Daphne. “I never listened to my mother’s curfew. They should know better than to set one.” He walks to Daphne’s door, opening it and helping her inside. “I’ll see you tomorrow, if I’m still alive.”
(That’s a mood, make them suffer the most possible)
(Fair enough-)
Daphne laughs a little, then nudges Tseth. “Hey- dont say it like that. You’ll live.” She sighs, standing there for a moment. “See you tomorrow.” She gently closes the door, then goes and sits down on her bed, fidgeting anxiously. Great, I get to be locked up in my room every night.
(Also, doing a very poor job of convincing me not to strangle Sylvia-)
(To be fair, Lucas was supposed to be the nicest, and the rest are either Okay-ish Sometimes or e v i l)
Tseth moves to his room, closing the door behind him. He stands there for a while, staring at the door. And then he tries to open it again.
