(Goodnight then, see you here tomorrow! (What term is even used when you meet online…?))
Aaron froze as Lovino glared back. Though it didn't shake him so much as surprise him when he then left without any argument. It confused him slightly. Turning the Nykidia he pulled his hand away, his curiosity showing some as Nysaxiope started having everyone introduce themselves. "Is that better?" He asked Nykidia. He glanced to the siren, guessing he wouldn't get away with not saying anything. He still tried, staying quite in hopes she would skip to the dragons or something. Maybe his anger had just become defiance instead….
The man remained silent to her. She recalled what Nykidia had said earlier. "It's Aaron, right? You just caused a major scene in front of my restaurant, and I'm most likely going to get a bad rep. It's the first few days, I'm still underemployed, and I had to close early. I can't afford this! So just introduce! Your! Self!" She sighed, her eyes still sparking, "Before I have to make you."
Aaron tilted his head as he looked towards the siren, recalling the magic in her words earlier. Is that a threat? I know what she's going to try now. "I played a part in at least stopping it by tying them up and making sure no one died by your storefront. My temper didn't have me trying to kill someone at least." He huffed, not confirming that Nysaxiope had his name right. This defiance took the place of him actually getting angry, it kept him from getting snappish over the her demanding tone.
(I was actually going to just lift the table because it would be completely unexpected and I was right! Haha! He'd never see Nys coming)
The hydra didn't meet the other's gaze as he responded, "Trust me, Faraneer and I didn't want to fight, but Kirdairn managed to snag control…he's always looking for an excuse to fight. He's never adjusted to 'city life' unlike Faraneer and myself…"
There was of course snapping in his mind as Kirdairn was snarling things that were best not said outloud. Mylnorr sat down in a booth as he figured it was best to follow instead of trying to go the other way.
~We've grown too damn soft~ Kirdairn snarled ~Back in the swamps we would've torn them all apart~.
Faraneer suddenly spoke up in their mind in his usual, quiet voice ~That was then…but remember, we were driven out of our swamps…just try to adjust instead of sticking to our old ways Kirdairn~
~Shut it ya runt! Go back to being quiet~.
Instantly at the remark, did Faraneer's voice fade.
Mylnorr's eyes shifted, noticing the siren as she picked up Eberaus and laid him down inside. His gaze noticed the others soon entering as well. Once again he drew their jacket closer to their body.
Despite everything, Eberaus simply continued to sleep away. Well, you couldn't really blame him, being starved, tired, and then forced to defend himself and suffering from the injuries.
"How about you, hydra boy? Come sit over here and introduce yourself."
Despite the invitation to go sit over where they were at, he remained in his space away from everyone else. Mylnorr looked towards her for several moments, then once again their gaze shifted to anywhere other than the person talking to them.
~Are we really going to introduce ourselves? We have no reason to~.
"I'm Mylnorr, could call me the eldest of my brother heads. Faraneer's the quiet one, he doesn't really care to talk much, but he is quite curious. Then as for Kirdairn…kind of already went over about him, and have seen what he does when he gets control…"
There was an annoyed groan in their mind. It was clear Kirdairn was not liking this one bit. Then poor Faraneer's remained completely silent after his brother head's snappish remark of 'runt'.
Nysaxiope sighed when the hydra boy didn't come to sit over with them. "So it was Kidairn who started that? Mind if I speak with him for a minute, Mylnorr?"
"Well, 'Hydra boy', Kirdairn is an a–. Considering he was the one insisting he'd find a way to tear us apart." Aaron remarked. Realizing his hair was probably crazy from earlier he tried to tame it some by running his fingers through it. He growled and muttered something to himself in a scolding tone as he noted that didn't help from the blood on him. I look like a maniac right now. Though he considered that maybe the siren was the crazy one as she asked the hydra that picked the fight be given control.
The male's body instantly became tense. His head lifted, his eyes actually coming to land on the female's. His pupils seemed to narrow slightly.
"I must advise against your request ma'am…perhaps I could try to let Faraneer come and talk instead if you would like."
~N-no please….I don't really feel like talking right now~ Faraneer's feeble voice spoke in their mind.
~Heh, fishy has a deathwish, even you know this Mylnorr~ Kirdairn sneered.
Mylnorr seemingly shook his head, as if trying to clear the thoughts, but to no avail was it working. It was so much easier when they weren't all in a single body, but for them to slither around in their full form would probably not go over well amongst the city folks.
"If you're against letting him take control… how big is your true form?" Nysaxiope asked. She knew that it probably wasn't the best idea to let an insane hydra head take control of the entire body, so that was the next best thing. She wanted to talk to Kirdairn.
"Um…well, right here to take full form, we'd probably crush everyone…"
~Not that it would a big loss~ Kirdairn snickered.
Mylnorr continued to speak, despite his brother's sudden voice in their mind, "We can shrink down a little bit, to where we're able to fit in a massive pool, since the person we're staying with let's us stay there. It's not like home…but it's alright…"
~Could say that again, so damn cramped, barely any room to move~.
Faraneer's quiet voice spoke again ~Still, it's better than nothing…I'm just happy to…~.
~Didn't I tell you to shut it runt~.
"Well let's go outside of the city then. I'm not doing anything because you all ruined my day." Nysaxiope provided, gesturing outside.
Aaron paid better attention hearing something about outside. Wanting to suggest a place he hadn't been in a long time, but kept his mouth shut on the subject. "Um…" He stopped as he considered how to word it. Clearly Nysaxiope was forgetting something, "Don't you think that's a bad idea with our current appearance? I, personally, think I look like a serial killer." He froze as he finished the sentence. Muttering something to himself about it being a bad example to use.
Mylnorr's eyes shifted towards the door the female gestured towards. A frown came to his face, still seeming against the thought of letting Kirdairn have an appearance, then again, maybe if they got a chance to take to their true form, he wouldn't be so snarly…but that was a long shot. It wasn't too often they were able to enjoy movement they way they were meant to be.
~What's wrong Mylnorr, afraid I might rip fishy apart? Well, I do like me some good fish~.
~K-Kirdairn…what would Nirvana say…~
Almost instantly at that name there was actual complete silence from the other. It was a bit hard to imagine that something would actually make Kirdairn shut up, but that seemed to have done the trick.
"Well, I suppose if you insist ma'am," Mylnorr mumbled.
He slowly stood up from the table he had been sitting at. A few waves of pain hit, but then were soon gone. His eyes were dull, pupils round and seemingly calm for the most part.
"Nah, you look more like a bad serial killer. Good ones look exactly like everyone else." Nysaxiope said to Aaron, "have you ever met a siren before? Do you know what things are considered 'normal' for them?" She stopped there, not needing to bring her past to the table. "You do look like a mess, though. You'll probably need a change of clothes. I have some unused male uniforms if you would like. And the bathroom is over there," She said, pointing at the bathroom. She looked at the dragon. "By the way, who's he? Also, he'll probably need something to eat when he wakes up. I'll go grab the uniform and then make something. Everyone wait here, and Aaron you can go clean up."
(Goodnight!)
"Hey, I know what sirens can do. I actually do know how to get away with stuff as well, thank you very much. And, uh, that's Eberaus." He said, only realizing after the fact that was a dumb thing to say. At the very least it wasn't something he'd usually say. He also paused at being offered clothes. Would that affect shifting? I've never really tried to shift without my coat and other stuff, it seems they get ripped if I'm harmed as a fox. "Actually, I'll take my chances and just try to kind of wash up with water. Head guard knows who I am and what I've done anyways." He replied, deciding he'd rather not risk losing his current attire for some uniform if that was the case. He headed in the direction she gave, disappearing into the bathroom to wash the sticky and metallic substance off.
"Aaron you really exude knowledge of Sirens. We're not just pretty voices and faces. Sometime I should show you what it's like. Show you where I come from." she shook her head after she called out to him, "that's besides the point. I won't question why the head guard knows what you've done, for now, but if you kinda feel someone looking through the file cabinet that is your brain, it is definitely not me." Nys shot him a wink that she know he could feel through the bathroom door.
She turned to Nykidia and Mylnorr."I'll be back in a few minutes, I'm making some food, I'll be in the kitchen if you need anything. Ruin anything a I swear-" She cut herself off with a flick of her tail and floated into the kitchen. She flicked the light switch on, and got out some ingredients. She had checked quickly before the kind of food each person wanted and started preparing a fish & chips for Nykidia, just a fish burger for Aaron, and the order for the hydra got mixed up with the three minds, so she decided to go with clam chowder, one desire she heard a bit louder, and for Eberaus she made a plate of salted salmon, knowing he'd need something large.
Lovino walks in the back door and smiles at her "want your mocha?" he says holding the coffee out and taking a sip of his Americano
Though, it seemed they weren't going to heading out right away. So, Mylnorr simply sat back down in the seat. The male sighed, moving his arms to rest against the back of the booth seat. He leaned his head back, slowly closing his eyes.
~Kirdairn…you haven't said much…~
~What the hell you want Faraneer, need someone to make sure there's no 'monsters' nearby? Hmph, we're the only monster here, so shut it~.
"Kirdairn…don't take your anger out on Faraneer," Mylnorr mumbled, "He's just curious and wants to know if you're alright."
There was an angry snort ~I'm just fucking peachy. Let's just hurry up and get this damn day over with already~.
There was seemingly a chuckle from Mylnorr, "Heh, yea…can already hear Nirvana wondering what happened when we show up on the doorstep bloody and injured."
~S-she'll probably make us that dish…oh what is it…clam chowder isn't it? Y-you love that stuff when she makes it Kirdairn~.
Once again, there was complete silence from Kirdairn. Seemed when something was said that he knew was right, he didn't want to admit it out loud. At the silence, a slight smile crossed his features. Both Mylnorr and Faraneer knew they were right, but they wouldn't push their brother too hard, not after what had recently happened.
Nykidia rubbed her head. "Thanks Aaron." She looked at the Hydra. "How many voices shared your body? 3? 4? I feel sorry for you man. I only have Night and even that's a pain sometimes." "Hey!"
Aaron had already washed his hands and his hair was slightly more tamed, trying to clean his coat as he heard Nysaxiope. She basically just said she had some sort of mind reading magic, and he felt anger rise again as she implied she planned on using it on him. If one thing could make him angry fast it was people trying to figure out his past when he clearly wasn't in the mood to share, he didn't need others going through his memories. He quickly opened the door, almost slamming it, as he shouted in the direction of the kitchen. "STAY THE F–K OUT OF MY HEAD." Aaron yelled, not taking too kindly towards Nysaxiope with her magic he had come to know of so far. He growled as he realized he had lost his temper again, but he couldn't really do much about it except try to calm down. He went and sat by Nykidia, grumbling about how he couldn't quite clean up. While it wasn't obvious some of the once red substance was still in the fabric of his clothes, beginning to blend in as it turned to an odd brown. He looked to Kirdiarn, no….. Mylnorr? Not quite trying to listen but paying attention to the hydra as they seemed to talk to themselves.
(I guess Nys will make clam chowder for the hydra instead Imma go change that)
So do you want your mocha or…..” lovino says looking at Nysaxiope.
"Sure, thanks. I've never had one before." She sighed, while still frying food. "It's strange that I've known you for four days, and here you are bringing me coffee, and I already have to deal with crazy people-" she heard a door slam and a yell from Aaron. "-like that in my first week." She raised her voice. "SURE AARON! AND IT WAS THAT FISH BURGER YOU WANTED, RIGHT?" She already knew that's exactly what he had wanted, and didn't have to ask him any questions in first place to know. Yeah, piss him off a little more, why dontcha? she thought to herself.
