Hatta started to hum again, tapping his feet against the bed. He rolled onto his stomach this time, leaning over the book.

Aliana couldn't see his face when he laid like that so she gave up trying to sketch him. She let out a little yawn even though she had fought to suppress it. Maybe just lying down for a second couldn't hurt right? They were there to sleep after all.
Hatta stretched, arching his back, then settled down again. He set the book down, and took off his coat, tossing it to the floor.
Aliana grabbed her bag and hopped off the bed. She looked over to Hatta, "I'm going to go change in the bathroom."
"Okay." He replied, without looking up from his book.
Aliana gave a slight nod and stepped into the bathroom. She locked the door behind her before rapidly changing into her nightgown. She was tired and just wanted to sleep so she didn't bother to brush her hair again or do any of her normal nightly routine. She unlocked the door and stepped back out moving back to the bed silently and quickly.
While she had been in the bathroom, Hatta had changed into his own pajamas, and was tugging his shirt on when she came back out. For a moment, she could see a glimpse of pale, scarred skin, before the shirt was fully on and it was covered again. Hatta flopped down on the bed again.
Aliana said nothing as she put her bag by her bed and climbed back on top of it. She figured he would get annoyed by any questions she had about the scar.
Hatta adjusted where his hat was sitting, folding his clothes and placing them beside the hat. "Good night." He said, pulling the covers over himself.
Aliana shuffled under the covers and nestled into a small ball, "Good night."
He turned out the lights and closed his eyes, laying on his side. With his eyes closed and features smoothed as he fell asleep, he looked younger, more like any other young adult, not like the going mad man that he was.
Aliana could hardly see in the dark, so she just closed her eyes and tried to fall asleep. She knew it would be difficult to say the least, but she had to try.
Hatta fell asleep rather quickly. His eyes stayed shut, his breathing slow and even.
(Should we skip?)
(yeah probably)
(I can start if you want.)
(sure. I mean I can start too if you'd rather I did)
(I got an idea, unless you really want to.)
(nah go right ahead)
(Cool. Give me a minute or twi and I'll get it up.)
(alrighty)
Wonderland was being destroyed, eaten up by some terrible monster and all Aliana could do was sit and watch. Bound by the chains that she had put there herself, and left Hatta all alone to face against whatever this was. She hated the insane way the other man walked and moved like what was Hatta had been eaten up by his madness. Soon the monster ate Hatta up to and was coming straight at-
Aliana shot up in her bed covered in a cold sweat. She curled up on herself and glanced over to see her companion was fine and still sleeping. It had just been a nightmare after all. At least that's what Aliana told herself. It was just a nightmare.
(or was it a nightmare? lol)
Hatta shifted, rolling again. His feet were hanging off the bed, and his head nearly was as well, strands of reddish and white hair hanging over his forehead. His own dreams were just as strange as they had always been. It didn't bother him as much anymore. Or at least, that was what he told himself in the mornings, when he would wonder if maybe they did bother him. If they were a symptom of his fracturing mind.
;)
Aliana let out a grateful sigh that Hatta didn't wake up. She slowly got out of bed and looked out the window to see the sun just barely rising. She could easily go back to sleep, but Aliana doubted she could after that. She grabbed her bag and slipped into the bathroom to change and get ready before Hatta could wake up.
While she was in the bathroom, there was a thump and a yelp. Hatta had rolled off the bed, and sat up sleepily, rubbing his eyes and looking at the bed grumpily. "Stupid thing." he muttered, a yawn interrupting his words.
