Amelia chuckled.
“That’s sounds fun, but we can do that later. I am way too comfortable right now to get up,”she replied, smiling.
Amelia chuckled.
“That’s sounds fun, but we can do that later. I am way too comfortable right now to get up,”she replied, smiling.
Keigo smiled. He kissed her, pulling her closer.
Kera was toying around with Jonathan again, taking a few minutes through systems. She knew they cycled and was able to bypass with a bit of friction
Amelia savored the kiss, then snuggled up against Keigo, quite content.
Jonathan immediately noticed when Kera got into his systems, his eyes narrowing. He glanced over at Edgar, noticing that he was asleep, and quietly sighed. He didn’t want to wake the cute bird, so Jonathan took a few deep breaths before turning back to his computer. Good thing he used a shit ton of decoys.
He quickly locked down the breached decoy. Though he could easily delete it and throw Kera out, that would be an obvious clue to the decoy, and he didn’t want to reveal that just yet.
“You’re in my domain, bitch. Ya fucked up,”he muttered under his breath.
He then sent over one of the many pieces of loose software that he had nicknamed ‘Guardians’ to her. He loved using them, because he could create an almost infinite amount and stuff them full of viruses.
“Have fun,”he snorted as the Guardian entered Kera’s system and spilled out the viruses. The first ones were easy to remove, but it gradually released the more difficult to remove viruses, some that were potentially devastating to the device.
Kera grunted, plugging her tablet into a gaurd drive. She basically led them on a goose chase for her systems. Kera sent Jonathan a little animation of a snowy avain shooting a small bird mid flight, heading right back to what she was doing.
Jonathan saw the animation and rolled his eyes. She had a guard drive then. After a moment, he grinned. A few of the worst viruses could bypass a guard drive, and there was at least one that could do so without the device noticing.
He then locked her down again, quickly sending another Guardian, making it seem like he was desperate. Meanwhile, he created little marks, breadcrumbs, that would lead her to a decoy website he called a Killswitch. It would cause most devices to get stuck in the loading process, potentially indefinitely.
Though, he also made a second path in case she figured out he was herding her, one that would lead to a dead-end system. He put a long, looped video of him in various positions of flipping off the camera with a goofy face in that dead-end.
Kera grunted from her room, having taken the second path. She backed out of everything and tried again, becoming aware of his tricks and adding his technique to her photographic memory.
Jonathan snickered as she backed out. He locked her in again, then created three paths, the second path led to the video again, and the first and third paths led to Killswitches.
“I can do this all day. And this is only scratching the surface,”he mumbled, grinning.
Kera chuckled and sent Jonathan his own choice of games. A path led to a very suggestive sights like she said she would earlier and one to a bob ross video.
Jonathan snorted,”You’re in my home, bitch. Fuck off.”
He deleted the paths, not bothering to even look at them. He then grabbed his pad, keeping an eye on his computer, and messaged her a video of Edgar saying ‘Rude bitch’.
Afterward, he proceeded to create walls around Kera, making it impossible for her to go anywhere except down the three paths he had made, even if she backed out. He watched her carefully, calculating.
Kera chuckled, going down the middle path, “ okay benji let’s play,” she said and attacked at the video, searching his web browser and going through his history. “ wow.. real clean.”
Jonathan smirked. He had wondered if she would do that eventually, though… the only two things he ever looked up was porn and online games, mainly porn. The rest was hacking, and that would never show up on history, both just by default and by his own habit of removing all traces of himself from a place he hacked.
Kera closed out of her tablet and changed to a fluffy sweater and high up black shorts along with long black socks. She ventured out of her room for some hot tea and a couple muffins before going to play Skyrim.
Jonathan chuckled when he saw her go offline. He then turned to the security cameras , watching her a moment, before looking back at his systems. He kicked her out then set all of his Guardians and other protective units to attack anything with Kera’s signature.
After that, he removed all traces of their little game before moving the core of his systems, the real part, into a backup layout. His signature would still default to the layout that Kera had tried to hack, but that was now just one massive decoy.
“Don’t fuck with the kid that has spent his entire life on a damn computer. You’re going to lose every single time,”Jonathan snickered.
Afterward, he busied himself with adding extra precautions to his core systems, and pulled out several empty hard drives he kept stashed, downloading everything onto them just as a contingency if he needed to delete the whole thing.
Kera chucked, thinking to her self. She’d made a breakfast trey and set it down at Jonathan’s door, rapping on his door twice and walking back to her bedroom
Jonathan turned at the knock, then looked at the security camera, noting Kera setting down a plate of food. He rose an eyebrow and grabbed his pad, messenging her.
‘Is that supposed to be a distraction, an apology, both, or neither?’
‘ think it of a temporary white flag, got a migraine ‘ she texted back
‘Would it be from my browser history? It scarred Bull, lol’
Jonathan, despite his humorous reply, snorted. He didn’t believe her one bit. Even if she was being honest, he still didn’t trust her.
‘Nah, they happen a lot, just need to find some tyanol and take a nap. ‘ she texted back as she got her bed ready to lay down. Clearly she was telling the truth
Jonathan watched her on the security cam, humming. He then cautiously went to grab the tray, keeping his pad close. He set the tray to the side, shutting his door, then sat back down, checking everything to be sure Kera hadn’t done anything in the few moments he had gotten up.
Kera had curled up in her blankets, sleeping peacefully
Jonathan kept the camera screen up, but otherwise busied himself with various tasks such as strengthening his system defenses and playing chess.
Kera whined in her sleep, her hands clenching and unclenching. She was clearly alarmed and having a nightmare.
Jonathan turned, watching. He grimaced, torn between simply turning the camera off or calling Boris. After a moment, he remembered that the doors were locked. He sighed and messaged Kera.
‘Wake up there. If your nightmares are that bad, go see Boris. He helped me during a rough moment several years ago.’
Jonathan waited, watching. Though he didn’t like the bitch, he didn’t have the heart to let anyone suffer with nightmares.
Kera jerked wake at the ping from her tablet, breathing heavily as her fingers went to the gunshot scar. She was shaking pretty bad.
Jonathan sighed, figuring that’s what her nightmare was about. He decided to message her again, in case she wasn’t yet aware that it was her pad that had woken her.
‘Come on. Back to the waking world with ya.’
