Boris cursed and immediately moved next to Keigo. He set up and did whatever he needed to, then waited for Keigo to come out of the seizure.
Amelia propped herself up on her elbow, trying her best to stay up and wait for Keigo’s return. Though, she repeatedly dozed off despite her efforts.
Keigo hadn’t come out of it for a while now, just laying there as he fought to regain stability.
“Fuck,”Boris muttered.
“Come on, Bird-Man,”he said, seeing if he could do anything to help.
After hearing his name, which had always made his chuckle, keigo let out a weak laugh. One of his hands tightened into a fist as he whines in pain. “ that fucker hurt..” he mumbled softly.
“I can tell. Just take a moment to relax,”Boris replied gently, watching Keigo and his stats closely.
Keigo had shivered a bit, “ please tell me Amelia didn’t see that..” he said and his green eyes tried to look around.
Boris shook his head.
“Take it easy. Amelia’s likely still in your room. Hell, if you two were napping then she’s probably still asleep,”he replied, his tone still gentle.
“ okay.. “ he said softly and tried to sit up.
Boris gently helped Keigo sit up, holding onto him until he was steady.
Amelia still waited, though as time passed it became increasingly harder to resist falling back asleep.
Keigo took a few shaky breaths, eventually standing on his own. “ thanks bear”
Boris nodded, watching him.
“I’m always here to help.”
Keigo sighed and held onto the wall to walk back to Amelia. She was always his first priority.
Boris watched Keigo leave, then packed up his supplies. He sat back down, watching the pad for a minute.
Amelia dozed off again, swaying slightly on her elbow as her head started to droop.
Keigo shut his door quietly, walking up to Amelia shakily. His heart raced a bit as he tried not to wake her.
Amelia’s drooping head nearly fell off her hand as Keigo approached and she stirred, snickering. She then noticed Keigo and looked at him with drowsy concern.
“You alright?”she asked, mumbling.
“ yeah..” he said weakly and lad next to her, “ just watch my chest.. it hurts quite a bit..”
Amelia watched him, nodding at his words.
“It’ll be alright, love,”she said softly.
She wanted to say more, but her half-asleep brain wasn’t cooperating.
Keigo pulled her close, dosing off to Amelia’s steady breaths.
Amelia snuggled against him, being gentle with her movements. She then watched him fall asleep, and eventually dozed off again.
Keigo slept for a good bit
Amelia woke up a little bit later and watched Keigo as he slept. She didn’t move, just watched and listened to him. Her thoughts roamed.
Keigos breathing was still a bit shakeup. His arms griped a little tighter to Amelia in his sleep. He seemed so peaceful. Every now and then his watch would flash green.
Amelia noticed his watch, watching it cautiously. She had never seen it do that and wasn’t sure what it meant. Was there another seizure on the way? Was it mini seizures in his sleep? Something else?
She took a slow, deep breath, calming herself. Then, she moved her arm and gently brushed her hand through his hair, being careful to not wake him, but hoping to soothe him.
Keigo knew the green color was only a check in, kinda like a life gaurd at the beach. The snowy blonde relaxed greatly when she touched his hair, his grip releasing a bit
Amelia smiled when Keigo relaxed. Sure, the watch still concerned her a bit, but she could easily ask him later.
