Vanessa ctossed her arms over her chest¨Okay¨.

He took a deep breath "she wanted nothing to do with him because I'm the father." He said quietly

¨I know¨ she said.

He sighed "I can live with her not liking me but she should be a part of the child's life"

¨We can´t do anything¨ she said.

"unless we bring Jester to her…" He said with a slight smile

Vanessa ;ooked at brink ¨I don´t know¨ she said.

He sighed and rested his head on the wall "your mother is impossible to work with, she knows that right?"

Vanessa looked at the ground as she played with her thumbs¨ yeah I know¨ she said.

He half smiled and turned to her, pulling her into his arms "so how do you feel? you look like a mess, but I'm starting to think that's normal. Especially whenever we go to places like these."

¨My legs freaking hurt¨she whined,

He walked her over to a chair "any better kitty cat?"

"momma, momma, do it again!" Jester smiled happily as he watched his mother shift back in forth into a cat from his father's lap

¨sweetie I´ve done five times now¨ she said.

"one more!" Jester laughed and waited patiently "Jes, why don't we let mom rest a bit, maybe she'll do it again later," Brink suggested. Jester shook his head stubbornly "no, one more!" Brink sighed and glanced at Vanessa "he gets that from you," he said with a smile

¨Jester Mommies back really hurts¨ she said.

Jester sighed and nodded "okay," he turned to his dad "daddy can play that game again? the one with the sharp knife thingies?" Brink eyes widened and looked at Vanessa "Jes, you weren't supposed to say that," he stood and head for the door "why don't you get it set up and I'll be there in a moment." Jester ran off happily "YAY!"

Vanessa pulled brink by his hair ¨NO¨ she said.

"owowowowowowowowowwwww, alright alright!" he turned to her "It's nothing bad, just Operation. He was referring to the tweezer things." He smiled down at her and kissed her head

Vanessa rolled her eyes getting up from the couch and walking away.

he chuckled and went into the main living space to find jester sitting with the game "Ready?" he asked as he sat down next to him. "yeah! is momma mad at you?" jester asked. Brink nodded "a little," he picked up the tweezers "Jes, these are tweezers, not sharp knife thingies," brink said with a laugh as he=anded them to his son

Vanessa walked into the kitchen where she saw something that made her scream.

"Jester stay here," Brink sprinted to the kitchen "ness what is it?" he glanced around "daddy what's going o-" Jester hid behind his parents
