"And where do you suggest we go?" Rivian had to hold back an annoyed sigh as he turned the key in the ignition and slowly pulled away from the curb.
"And where do you suggest we go?" Rivian had to hold back an annoyed sigh as he turned the key in the ignition and slowly pulled away from the curb.
(I wish I could pull that off like you)
It takes being an asshole to write one, so I'm very good at it.//
"I hunt in the slums. There are many who will go unmissed and quickly forgotten there."
"Sounds like a plan to me." Rivian agreed. "It also gives the little lady a chance to see what her new life entails. She will also need her fill for today as I'm betting she hasn't eaten for some time?"
"Um, no. I haven't really eaten at all yet." She replied looking at the two of them.
"Well then, perhaps we should show her how to hunt."
"I think we should leave the hunting to you, Arie. You always were the better hunter of us both." Rivian kept his eyes on the road but let out a soft chuckle.
"It's like I always say, 'Terrified blood tastes so much sweeter." Arie laughed.
"Not that you were ever good at torture."
"I have the basement to prove otherwise." He turned around quickly to give Arie a wink before turning his attention back to the road. "I'll have you know that I'm so good at torture that I had one man practically begging for me to hurt him. That was an interesting day to say the least."
"I see! You've gotten better." Arie winked.
"I learned only from the best." Rivian laughed a little louder, then had to force himself to stop for it was hurting his cheeks and stomach. They neared the slums, and already Rivian could see street rats that certainly wouldn't be missed. "Have you picked out your meal?" he asked both of the girls.
"I see a delectable woman, right over there, in the alley. She's young."
"Always the women with you." Rivian tutted, taking a left into a shaded backstreet. From there he parked, and could see the woman Arie had picked out clearly. "Watch and learn little fledgling, Arie is one of the cleanest and most efficient hunters I know."
Verrian plugged in his headphones, walking over to his motorcycle and starting it. ~They'll bust your kneecaps~ Played through his headphones as he began to drive, heading downtown towards where there were a few fighting rings. He was hungry.
"Unless I decide to have some fun." Arie put her hands in the air.
"Tonight, though, this is all business." Stepping out of the car, Arie made her way towards the woman.
"Who are you?" She asked wearily.
"Oh, no one." Arie snapped the woman's neck discreetly. Acting as if she were helping the woman up, she said,
"Grandma, perhaps it is time to come home." No one had noticed the woman was dead. Arie brought the woman to the car and gently sent her down in the seat.
"I didn't say bring her into the car, Arie!! I have a trunk for a reason." He sighed, running both of his hands through his hair. "I can't even be annoyed at you. A perfectly executed performance, as usual, and I expect nothing less from such a talented girl."
"Aw, if I had any blood in my veins I would blush. Besides, I'm hungry, and I'm no messy eater." Arie went in for a bite.
Calla watched the two confused. She had no idea what they were doing or what was going on at all.
"Pardon me for asking," Rivian cleared his throat, turning his attention to the newly turned. "But what is your name? We haven't been properly introduced."
"Oh, My name is Calla." She replied smiling then put out her hand to shake hands.
Arie sat up from her meal.
"Perhaps you would like a bite, Calla. It's still warm."
"It's a pleasure to meet you Miss Calla." Rivian took Calla's hand and gently kissed her knuckles. Then he glanced over at the body and carefully let go of her hand. "You should, it's good."
"Of course, I can always get more…"
Varian's eyes flitted over the buildings till he found the one he was looking for, a fighting club disguised as a gym. "Wonderful." He drawled, turning off his music and parking.
"Why should a lady always search for her food? I could always get you someone.." Rivian suddenly felt rather useless, and felt the need to prove himself capable of hunting a human. For as long as he had known Arie, she had always shown him up with her clean killing, and so many times he had tried to prove that he was a clean killer too, but it never worked.
