Jay laughed a little at their back and forth. "Dude, I've been living in a dorm room for like…ever. Even an apartment is impressive."
Marco narrowed his eyes a little at the smirk, smiling. "Not spendin' the night, buddy boy." he replied teasingly. "Unlike Jay here, I don't do hookups the first night."
“Is that what you think I implied??” Matt shook his head. “What a dirty mind you have, amigo. I was just thinking I have nerf guns.”
Lou rolled his eyes yet again, putting his head in his free hand and giving a long broken sigh, laughing slightly.
“The worst part is that he isn’t lying,” Lou replied. Matt just grinned.
Marco snorted softly. "Of course you have nerf guns." he muttered, laughing. "Of course." he shook his head a little, smiling.
Jay laughed. "Ha! Well. Maybe we'll have to see whose got the best aim. After all, we come from the land of guns." he was poking fun at his own american-ness.
Matt looked over at Marco, a quizzical look on his face.
“Excuse me?” he began with a laugh. “You say that like it’s an insult amigo.”
Lou nodded. “You’re childish, what can’e say?”
He then turned his attention back to Jay.
“And just because you’re from the land of guns doesn’t mean you can beat me.”
Marco shook his head. "Not an insult, doll. Just laughing." He replied with a light smile.
Jay smirked. "But, mon amie, I do believe that I can beat you." He replied, grinning.
Lou gave a sarcastic bewildered smile.
“You sure as hell can try,” he said, his voice holding a clear competitive tone. “I doubt you could actually.”
Matt waved his free hand with a scoff. “He will.”
Jay stuck out his tongue. "But I will, darling. I will." He replied with a wink, smiling at Lou and laughing.
The Frenchman tilted his head with a challenging smile, shaking it back and forth.
“Nope. I’m stubborn. I’m winning,” he mumbled.
Matt suddenly stopped in front of a large building. From the outside it looked more like a hotel entrance than an actual house. He just smiled and tugged Marco inside. Lou followed after, tugging Jay inside as well.
The house looked like Lou had said. A mansion. Inside as a piano, and past that a hallway into the gigantic kitchen. On either side were staircases, leading to a hidden uppper room. The lights were on and a girl looked over the railing, smiling at the four and waving.
“Welcome back, Mattie. And hey Louie!! Nice to see you again,” she said happily.
“Hey sis,” Matt replied.
Jay shook his head, kissing Lou's cheek. He looked at the house, eyes widening a little bit. "Jesus Christ, it's huge." He commented, raising his eyebrows. He waved at the girl, a faint smile tugging at his face.
Marco's eyebrows crept upwards, and he shook his head. "I wasn't expecting this big a house." He commented with a laugh.
Matt gave a shrug. “Just gives Lou more room to lose.”
“Hey Addie,” Lou greeted. The woman gave a smile, her long black hair curling to her shoulders. She had the same complexion as Matt, and the both of them were gorgeous. They were clearly related— dark kind eyes and a charming smile.
“Que tal, Louie. I’m Addie,” she said, regarding the two she didn’t know. “And I’ll leave you boys alone. I made some pancakes— they’re in the kitchen if you want ‘em. Buenos noches, chicos. Y tú, hermano.”
“Si, si, buenos noches,” Matt replied. “Gracias.”
“De nada,” she answered, walking back to her own room. Matt gave the guests a smile.
“Welcome to mi casa,” he said, beginning to walk to the kitchen. From what Lou knew, their kitchen opened into their living room as well, with a massive TV. He followed Matt, still holding Jay’s hand.
Marco studied the woman for a moment, then glanced over at Matt, studying the way they resembled each other. He himself was an only child, much to his mother's chagrin when he came out to her. When he told her that he wasn't her "little girl" any longer. That he hadn't been in a long time.
Matt looked back to Marco.
“You comin’, amigo?” he asked, turning around and walking backward down the elegant hallway. Lou was already leading Jay down the corridor, brushing his hand on the piano as he passed. They suddenly entered a massive kitchen, the ivory counters and cabinets spotless except for some flowers in vases and a single plate of pancakes.
Lou veered off to the left, where a big couch layed and almost an even bigger TV. None of it seemed to phase Lou, as he sat down on the couch calmly. He’d been over here too many times to count.
Marco nodded, following through the house. He reached into his pocket as he felt his phone buzz, but left it for later. He could answer it later. Not right now.
Jay stuck close to Lou, eyebrows raised as he stared around the house. It was a hell of a lot bigger than he had really been expecting.
Matt grabbed the plate of pancakes, setting them down on the coffee table in the room, beside the couch. He took a seat a slight bit away from Lou, figuring Jay and Marco would probably want to sit between. On on in Jay’s case, as he remembered the couch in the bowling alley.
Lou kicked up his feet on the table, putting his hands behind his head and letting out a sigh.
“What’r we watchin’?” he asked, glancing over at Jay and Matt.
Jay plopped down on the couch, moving until he was half on, half off of Lou's lap. The smaller American tended to be touchy like this, always liking being cuddled up with whoever he was dating.
Marco, on the other hand, simply sat down between Jay and Matt, leaning back and letting out a soft sigh.
Lou took his arm from behind his head and propped it around Jay, happy he was there. He had been cold, but it looked like the feeling wouldn’t be lasting long.
Matt looked over at the rest of them, turning on the TV. He raised an eyebrow.
“Yeah. You’re the guests. What are we gonna watch?” he asked.
Lou shrugged. “Comedy? Action? ~Romance~? I really have no preference.”
Jay shrugged. "Romance is fine. Anything is fine. Except porn. No porn or erotica or whatever. Nope. Not interested in watching that right now."
Marco laughed a little bit at Jay. "I'm sure no one else thought of that at the mention of movie, Jesus." He replied, punching Jay lightly.
“Yeah, what gutter is your mind in?” Lou laughed, shaking his head. “Put on whatever, Matt. I’m good with anything.”
Matt gave a nod and clicked on some kind of cheesy rom-com, before getting up and dissapearing for a moment. He reappeared holding three massive blankets, chucking one at Lou before spreading the other two evenly for him and Marco.
“Gah—,” Lou muttered as the blanket pelted him in the face. He just left it there, sliding down to where only his eyes were visible. He spread out the rest of it over he and Jay, sinking lower and cuddling into the warmth.
Jay rolled his eyes to the skies. "Sorryyy." He replied, not sounding very sorry as he snuggled into the blanket and Marco, a soft smile on his face.
Marco snuggled into the blanket, shaking his head in amusement at Jay.
Lou let out a long sigh, disregarding Jay’s apology completely.
“If I fall asleep, wake me up,” he mumbled, blinking slowly. “Alright?”
“Just punch him, he’ll wake up,” Matt informed, grabbing a pancake. Lou shook his head, his tired eyes behind the reflected movie screen off his glasses.
Jay sighed. "I'll wake you up, but it certainly won't be with a punch." He replied, wrinkling his nose and shaking his head. He kissed Lou's cheek softly.
Marco stretched. "I might have to get up to take a phone call in a minute. I got a message earlier that I probably will need to answer." He still didn't know who it was from.
Matt glanced over.
“That’s fine,” he said, shrugging. “Take your time.”
Lou looked over at Jay, raising an eyebrow with a smile.
“What are you implying?” he mumbled softly.
Jay laughed. "Nothing terrible. Just a kiss or something, jeez. I wouldn't do anything innapropriate with other people around." He replied with a warm, teasing smile.
Marco nodded a little, running his hands through his hair and letting out a breath.
“Considering we made out in the middle of 1905?” he whispered with a laugh, so only Jay could hear. His voice was full of humor, him obviously razzing. He had to keep his voice low as to keep Marco from hearing. He wasn’t necessarily too keen on sharing his abilities with just anyone. Except for Matt and Jay, apparently.
“I’m joking, I’m joking,” he continued, if the sarcasm wasn’t prevalent enough.
Jay let out a breathy laugh. "Ah, yes. That's partially why." He murmured, leaning over to graze his lips across Lou's cheek, chuckling softly, still cuddled up against the Frenchman, his leg overlapping Lou's.
Marco kept the blanket snuggled around his body, watching the movie with a soft, tired, unguarded expression.
