“I can change that,” Matt said with a slight mischievous grin. He instinctively pulled Marco in closer, keeping up his cocky visad. He rested his gleeful eyes on the other man, still stepping with the time of the music.
“I can change that,” Matt said with a slight mischievous grin. He instinctively pulled Marco in closer, keeping up his cocky visad. He rested his gleeful eyes on the other man, still stepping with the time of the music.
Marco's eyes widened a little bit at that, gaze flicking to Matt. A faint blush spread on his cheeks, though it was difficult to see in this lighting. "You…" He sighed.
“Whhhaat?” Matt said in more of a breath than his voice. It sounded more like a whine as he stepped to either side, drawing Marco along with him. “I can stop, if you wish.”
His voice was laced with a tint of humor as they danced, and his eyes held a childish twinkle.
Marco rolled his eyes to the sky, shaking his head. Don't stop. "No, it's fine." He replied aloud, letting Matt lead him through the motions of the dance.
“Hm,” Matt mumbled. “Alright, then.”
He kept his swaying, not wavering from his close distance to Marco— if not stepping even closer.
Marco looked up at Matt, trying to figure out what to do. His makeup was still nearly pristine, lovely and perfect on his face still.
“You know,” Matt began. “I wasn’t lying. You are quite attractive.”
His words flowed casually, and his melodic voice almost complimented the soft music. His smile did all the more, charming and sly as always.
Marco blinked slowly, trying to figure out how to respond to that. "Oh. Thanks." He finally replied slowly.
(Gtg soon sorry)
(‘s alright)
Matt raised an eyebrow, wondering if he shouldn’t have let the compliment fly. He slowly created a bit of distance between them, trying to make it unnoticeable. Normally it wouldn’t have phased him, but with Marco he was more self-conscious. Possibly because Matt really enjoyed the presence of this man.
Marco bit his lip, noticing the distance. What do I do? Normally he was more confident, but right now…he didn't know what to do. He watched Matt carefully.
(two nervous bois lol)
Matt just swayed, and his eyes retired back to looking anywhere but Marco’s face. He had no clue how he felt about the man but it certainly wasn’t enything he could control. So he just danced, deciding the best thing to do was to not overthink it. He’d go with the flow, so to speak.
(lmao)
Marco took a deep breath. "So, uhm…" He regretted the words as soon as they had left his mouth. What am I trying to say?? He asked himself. He blinked.
Matt’s eyes drifted back to Marco’s face, and he cocked his head slightly. His heart leapt, though he didn’t know why. Maybe just the sound of the man’s voice, or possibly the way he looked. Matt couldn’t put a finger on it, but he knew the feeling was there.
“Hm?” he mumbled curiously.
"Ah– nothing. Sorry." He said quickly, taking a deep breath. "I…don't know what I meant to say. Sorry." He swallowed, eyes flicking away for a moment.
Matt gave a light-hearted smile. “No te preocupar, guapo.”
His words were fluent and flowed elegeantly off his tongue, matching his deep voice perfectly. His chocolate eyes lingered on Marco for a moment, before taking up their position on the skyline again.
He frowned a little bit. "Huh? I don't…speak Spanish, man. I'm gonna need a translation." He replied, arching his eyebrows at Matt.
With the remark, Matt’s grin grew slightly. His eyes were instantly back with that mischievous glow.
“I said don’t worry, handsome,” he admitted, still upkeeping the calming sway. He spun Marco, then brought him back gently.
(gtg soon sorry)
Marco spun, coming a bit closer to Matt afterwards than perhaps he needed to. He smiled up at Matt. "Oh." He replied faintly, not sure how to respond to the flirtation.
(Okay, no worries)
Matt smiled at the other man’s confusion, but inwardly cursed himself.
Hijo de perra, he thought to himself. He had no clue what he was doing, and why he was feeling so awkward involuntarily.
Marco swallowed softly, not quite sure why he was feeling so…awkward about this. He looked up at Matt, debating what to do. "So…" he trailed off. "Are you from Spain?"
Matt let out a small laugh, more of a light-hearted scoff than a chuckle. “Soy latinoamericano. De Argentina.”
He then remembered Marco’s previous statement and gave a sheepish smile. “Sorry for the Spanish. I’m from Argentina— sudamericano. Alza la bandera.”
(“Alza la bandera”= Raise the flag)
Marco blinked, then nodded. "Ooh, alright. Yeah, that makes sense. I just…assumed Spain because Europe, sorry." then he made a big show of checking himself. "Sorry, is my arrogant, ignorant American showing?" he laughed a little bit.
Matt shook his head with a smile, his brows narrowed. “Certainly not. I tend to like you Americans. You bring a splash of figurative color to Europe.”
He continued his dancing, suddenly too aware of his hand on Marco’s waist. However, he just confidently kept his movements.
Marco chuckled a little. "Hopefully not too much color. I love my country, yeah, but…we've got our issues." he shrugged his shoulders, smiling at Matt. "Also, I was joking. The American stereotype is ignorant, arrogant, and obese."
“Well clearly you’re from somewhere else,” Matt said with a laugh. “You’re not any of those whatsoever.”
