"I… I'm sorry," Horus muttered, "If I'm too much of a burden, leave me behind. Mustard gas isn't usually fatal right away."
"I… I'm sorry," Horus muttered, "If I'm too much of a burden, leave me behind. Mustard gas isn't usually fatal right away."
"Well the clock is going haywire today, have you not seen all these death ratings?" She asked. They were so close now.
"out of question, you are no burden. every person deserves shot at life." adam picked up the pace a little but still stayed with alex and jemma.
"Yeah, but if it comes to it, risking one life is better than risking several. And I'm young and strong. Chances are, I'd be alright, maybe." Horus was now feeling shaken. He knew there wasn't much time left.
Emil chuckled slightly as he looked back down at his barb. 1 minute left before deadly gases. "I guess the Germans are gassing everyone again," he sang quietly as he ran a bit faster.
Rain had already left the earthquake center and made her way to the Sky Tower. As rude as it may have seemed, she started pushing her way to the top through the crowds of people, putting her gas mask on at the same time.
They were about an inch away. 1 minute. It warned. So she pushed everyone inside and jumped in after. Just a nick of time before the doors closed.
( Oh whoops sorry. Just say she was already in the tower.)
Horus tried to make space for everyone else by moving farther into the room. As soon as he could, he found a place to sit down, and he began massaging the back of his knee.
Cade ran through the back doors of the Sky Tower just before the doors closed. He swiftly maneuvered through the crowd, figuring it would be best to get to higher ground. He kept his mask on, just in case.
Harley felt uncomfortable. She could sense that the others didn’t trust her and she wasn’t used to having so many people surrounding her.
Adam sat next to Harley "i can see that feeling on your face, the feeling of being alone when you are surrounded by thousands, the feeling of comfortableness and that feeling that no one trusts you… it sucks, but you have to overcome those feelings, show them that you can be trusted." Adam gets up and disappears into the crowd.
Alex ran up to the top floor and sat down in the corner with Jemma
Looking for those two girls she came with, Harley stood up and looked around. Spotting them sitting in a corner, she walked towards them trying not to step on other peoples hands and feet. "H-hi, I'm Harley, the girl who followed you? I just wanted to thank you for helping me get to the tower. I can see that you still wary of me, I would be too, but just know that if you need help, I'll be there." She turned around and looked for a new spot since her old one was invaded by a woman and her child.
Alex nodded before going back on her brab again. 30 minutes until ending. 20,000 dead so far.
Rain adjusted her gas mask, and wandered around the top floor of the tower. A little child tugged on her hand, and as Rain looked down, she saw that his face was covered with tears. Taking her gas mask off, she spoke to the child.
"Hi, where are your parents?"
Not speaking, the boy only shook his head. Rain averted her eyes from his, not sure how to address this situation. She took his hand, and put her gas mask back on, looking at the time. Still a while to go.
Horus motioned for Harley to come sit next to him. He was alone, still trying to fight off the pain of the fight.
Emil glanced at his barb, slightly bored. There were still 30 minutes until the mustard gas would disperse, which also entitled 30 minutes left of being within close proximity to a massive amount of people. He let a sigh slip through his lips, and he looked around for someone he knew.
Horus motioned for Harley to come sit next to him. He was alone, still trying to fight off the pain of the fight.
she noticed horus calling her and walked towards him. while going there she noticed a girl standing awkwardly while a little boy tuged her hand. walking up to them she asked
"Hey is everything alright?"
Cade stood towards the top of the tower, looking out at the city around him. The streets were littered with bodies, and everything had a slight shine from the tsunami earlier.
Rain looked up at the new voice. It was a young woman. Rain shook her head, and tried to whisper louder than the yelling in the building. "No, this boy lost his parents." She couldn't cry, not after all she had seen, but Rain definitely didn't feel happy at all.
Horus watched Harley and the two kids closely, hoping that nothing was wrong. He was about to get up to see what was happening, but the second he put any weight on his leg, the pain hit hard. He winced and gasped a little. Horus wasn't sure what was wrong, or if he was going to be able to make it much farther if he couldn't run.
(I gotta go for a bit, but I'll be back later)
(alright bye!)
