Emil scanned over the crowded level, his eyes searching for a familiar face. His eyes landed on a boy approximately his age, his blue-grey eyes drawn to the carnage below. Out of pure boredom, Emil decided to approach him. "Amazing, right?" he commented to the male.
"Amazing? I've never thought of it that way." Cade responded, not bothering to turn and see who he was now speaking to.
"Oh really? But I suppose I just see things differently than other people," he replied as he came closer to the window to see the city scenery, scattered with bodies for added effect. It was a fascinating sight for Emil, the idea that after so long, there could still be so many deaths each hour.
"Everyone sees things differently. See, humans have these things called opinions." Cade muttered, a hint of sarcasm in his voice. Whoever this boy was, well, he was freaky.
a ferret runs up to Horus dragging a pill bottle with a note on it "take these, they will help your pain - Adam, the other one who carried you." the ferret chews through the string holding the pill bottle and runs into the crowd
Rain looked up at the new voice. It was a young woman. Rain shook her head, and tried to whisper louder than the yelling in the building. "No, this boy lost his parents." She couldn't cry, not after all she had seen, but Rain definitely didn't feel happy at all.
Harley immediatly hugged the boy. "Aw don't worry sweetie, come sit with me, i'm sure your paents will find you soon!" She looked up to the other woman who had tears in her eyes. She hugged the woman tightl "Don't worry, it'll be alright."
Horus looked down where the ferret dropped the pill bottle. "What's this…?" He picked it up and read the note, then looked around for Adam. He was certain he couldn't get up at the moment, but when he did, he would be sure to thank him. Horus opened the bottle and took a pill to start with, hoping it would help with the pain. He was pretty sure it was only a bad bruise, so the pain medicine should help.
grabbing the boy's hand, Harley walked over to Horus who was eating a pill.
"Hi," Horus said, "There's room over here to sit, if you'd like."
"Thanks so much," she replied. Taking the boys hand, she sat down beside him. "What's your name, little guy?"
Horus listened in. He tried his best to smile at the child, hoping that maybe it acted as some sort of reassurance.
The child just started crying.
"God, Horus! You just made a child cry!" he muttered, berating himself for being such an idiot. Horus turned away.
(Lol I was kind of hoping that would happen.)
//omg you heartless person lol jk jk
(I just thought it would be funny. He's kind of a big teddy bear…)
(lol I came back to only find Horus making a child cry xD)
Rain followed the woman who hugged the small boy.

the pills began to work and the pain was dulled.

Augustine continued wandering around, dazed and sobbing quietly. But this was not the time to fall apart, and instead she made it her mission to find someone to talk to.
Horus flexed his foot and bent his knee. The pain had largely been dulled. He figured it would be wise to stand up, walk around, and stretch the injured area so it didn't get stiff. Horus started by simply getting to his feet, gazing after the poor child whom he'd made cry.
Alex looked over and saw Horus make a child cry. In anger she crossed over and punched him in the chest. "What the heck dude?!" She asked in anger.
"Hey! What did I do!?" Horus snarled, pulling his hand back. He was ready to punch back if necessary.
