Kori stood beside Hinata, waiting for further orders from his ‘master’.
When Matthew heard Adara’s words, he turned around and gave her a smile pass the headgear.
”Let me help as well” he said as he casted a speed spell on both himself and Adara. It was refreshing to say the least.
”Kasai, Kori, protect Hinata and her Companions at all cost. Kohaku, come here” he ordered as the foxes nodded and turned to their wolf forms.
The cat, Kohaku, jumped onto Matthew’s head. Matt sent Adara a mouthing of the words Follow the waves before he sprinted down the hall, at quite an inhumanly speed.
When Jade appeared inside the maze, the atmosphere changed quite significantly. There wasn’t any chillness, it all became tensed and somewhat stressful. Echoes of screams and screeches can be heard around the maze. It was time to start exploring.
”Heading somewhere?” a somewhat familiar voice would ring from behind Kye. Though hard to follow, it wasn’t impossible when what you followed was scent and not sight. The figure who had called out was the young Knight who wielded two swords. He had bloodstains on his face, new ones that most likely came after he met Kye.
Hinata watched Matthew take off, putting one hand on her hip. She was perfectly fine defending herself, but it was sweet that he wanted to protect her. Plus, it would be advantageous to have Kori and Kasai around if some of the other locals dropped by.
Kye jumped hard. A purple sphere appeared around Aisen throwing the man away from him. Kye slid to a halt, ripping the knife from his pack, and turning to face the knight. The tip of the knife near the ground. The sphere around the Knight disappeared and Kye breathed out slowly as he realized who it was. "Apologies," he said. "I was headed towards the location of the explosion. To make sure that there are not any injuries. Or to help with what there is."
Kasai and Kori both sniffed the air, searching for unfamiliar scents.
”Three…” Kasai said quietly.
”Three not so pleasant scents… one definitely from that attacker, I’m not sure about the other two though” Kori added to what Kasai said.

Aisen was taken a bit back when Kye summoned the sphere around him.
”Right…” the Knight blinked a bit as he said that.

Kye Looked at Aisen and then in the direction he had been heading, then back to Aisen again. "Would you like to come with me to make sure everyone is alright? This is your home after all."
Aisen opened his mouth a bit at the word ‘home’ Kye said with certainty. He clenched his fists and grind his teeth a little before closing his eyes. Opening them again, they can be seen changing colors; from both of them being black, to one staying black and the other a ghostly white. He rested his dominant hand on the corresponding sword’s hilt and nodded.
”Let’s go…” he said, leading the way towards the building in the distance.

Jade had made the coat into a dove and let it go away as she walked into the maze
"Thanks," Adara grinned. Her body started to pump with adrenaline, and she pulled her small folding knife, unfolding a blade and throwing it as fast and hard as she could at the attacker. The blade spun, golden trails of flames streaking from the ends, and lodged into the wall. It missed the figure by centimeters, and she cursed. She was out of practice.
The hall in front of Loki was relatively dirty. It represented sewers from what it seemed. There were mosses and aquatic plants growing in the corners and along the path. There were sounds of footsteps around along with the sounds of water droplets.
When Matthew saw the blade, he smiled and went quickly to pick it up. He jumped after the figure in the long hall and managed to catch up, grabbing the figure by his throat and stabbing it with Adara’s blade, twisting it before pulling out.
The cat, Kohaku, that was on him jumped on the attacker’s now motionless body and opened its mouth, swallowing gulps of blue substance which was evaporating from the body.
He then threw the dagger back towards Adara, missing her barely and hitting the wall behind her.
”Thank you, very useful”
Hinata nodded, listening to what they said.
"Great," she mumbled under her breath. Things always had to be complicated- she had wanted to explore a bit since had been a long while since she had been to the Labyrinth, and her memory was a bit… Rusty; but she also didn't like the odds of there being at most three enemies here and running into one.
We should wait for Matthew, Tatsuo advised.
Got it. I'm gonna go explore. Tatsuo made an undignified sound.
"Hey guys," she said to Kori and Kasai, "I think I'm gonna take a walk."
Kye noticed the change in Aisen, but didn't show anything until he'd turned and bit his lip. Clearly that was not the smartest thing to say. But he couldn't take it back now. So he kept going towards the area that the explosion came from.
The hall in front of Loki was relatively dirty. It represented sewers from what it seemed. There were mosses and aquatic plants growing in the corners and along the path. There were sounds of footsteps around along with the sounds of water droplets.
Jade looked at the plants in fascination "Wow I have never seen these" the footsteps finally registered in her mind as she heard them getting closer so she slipped into the shadows
Kasai and Kori were a bit confused at first but decided to take the risk. What was the worst that could happen anyway? This was Hinata we were talking about.
”Alright, we’ll be here. Just be careful” the two foxes nodded at the ice fox’s words.

As they took their stroll towards the area, Aisen gave out a loud sigh.
”Sorry about that—“ he brought up, still keeping his hand on his sword’s hilt ”—I wasn’t exactly pleased hearing the word ‘home’ describing this place… and as much as I’d like to disregard it, it’s the reality I’m in now” the Knight spoke in a much lower and quieter tone. They were about halfway to the area.
(Congrats! You’ve met with one of the several new Knights I’ve replaced with the old and boring ones)
The sounds of footsteps finally reached the end of the hall Jade was in.
”They should have some lights installed in this damn place…” a female voice complained about the brightness of the hallway. As she got closer to Jade, her features can be seen.
She had tentacle-like long hair which covered parts of her face, seaweed stuck between their strands, a pair of darkened green eyes which looked dead tired, soft and tender looking lips, and arms which looked infected by something. Soon, it was clear what the infected spots can do. The female looked down at them and smiled as the spots enlarged, turning one of her arms into a giant crab claw which looked razor sharp. She looked around the hall.
”Where… where is that scent coming from…”
Jade used a silence spell on herself to make sure she wasn't heard but the closer the female got the more worried she got so she back up as far as she could into the darkness
The female figurine looked around a bit more before they sighed and walked away. The echoes of water droplets still rang through that specific hall but now with only Jade in that hallway.
Jade slightly sighed but didn’t make a sound her worry would have showed but she used the shadows for comfort
"Don't worry, I will be." Hinata chuckled a little, turning to walk down the hall. When was she every not caref- Hinata tripped over her foot, falling down.
"Don't- say anything," she mumbled, laying on the ground a moment before getting up. She figured she'd stick to the first floor; she didn't want to go too far away.
Down the hall Jade was in, there were two ways to go. Both were similar in design; still as dirty and rusty as the hall Jade was currently in.
(Left?)
(Right?)
(Good job Hinata… good job XD)
As Hinata walked down the hospital’s hall, she would come across some several doors. They all look identical, except for what’s inside them.
The first room Hinata would come across held what appeared to be a winged man whose wings are made of metallic bird-like feathers. He was sitting silently on his bed, quiet and calm.
The second room she would see two people; both of which were males. One of them was on the bed, sleeping and was in a patient’s costume. The other was organizing the room and cleaning what he could. He looked like a professional cook, judging from the food that was beside the patient’s bed.
The third room held a female with blonde hair and beautiful green eyes. She was sewing something as she sat on the bed and it looked like she was humming as well.
The fourth and finally room of the hall held black haired man with equally black eyes. He wasn’t in a patient’s robe nor did he look ill. He held a bow; a green and golden one with an ancient but mystifying design. He seemed to be talking to someone, someone who was on the curtained bed.
(First Room?)
(Second Room?)
(Third Room?)
(Fourth Room?)
(Leave all of them be?)
Jade looked down both halls slightly the went down the left hallway and followed it as she walked she summoned a small flame to light her way but kept it to where it only lit a little ways away from her
Adara shrugged. "You're welcome." She pulled the knife from the wall and tucked the blade back into the main base before tucking to back into her sleeve. "Who was that?" She was a bit disappointed that she couldn't fight anymore, but watching was still cool. Matthew had used a fighting style she had never seen before, and she was already mapping his moves out in her head, to teach herself.
Hinata, of course, was drawn to the room with the two men. The one up and about seemed to be a cook, which was something Hinata could relate to. Of course, it also reminded her that she'd have to find a way home soon; she had a feeling leaving wouldn't be as easy as it was before, since this time she had arrived through someone else's portal. She was still a bit sour about that.
The left hallway was filled with water and was stinky to the core. There were heads floating above the waters on the side of the hall. It seemed as if a mass murder had just happened around here.
”I honestly don’t know, sorry” Matthew answered, dragging the corpse of the man back with him as he walked towards Adara. Matthew laid the corpse of that man on the floor when he got close to Adara. His armor started to fold back up into his wrist, where the symbol was.
The man inside the room looked through the glass on the door. He walked towards the door and opened it just slightly.
”Can I help you miss?” the man asked with a gentle and polite voice and manner.
"Hm? Oh, no. Sorry, I was just wandering around and happened to glance in." Hinata paused for a moment.
"Are you a cook?" She asked, curious.
”Well indeed I am” the man in the room said before he glanced over at the other man who was on the bed, sleeping quite peacefully. He soon turned back to Hinata and tilted his head slightly.
”You look vaguely familiar… I think I’ve seen you somewhere before…? Who are you?”
"Hinata Hayashi, Dimensional Balance Keeper," she said, bowing. She straightened back out. She was going to be experiencing this a lot here, wasn't she. Ah well. Less likely someone would try to kill her then.
