As they took their stroll towards the area, Aisen gave out a loud sigh.
”Sorry about that—“ he brought up, still keeping his hand on his sword’s hilt ”—I wasn’t exactly pleased hearing the word ‘home’ describing this place… and as much as I’d like to disregard it, it’s the reality I’m in now” the Knight spoke in a much lower and quieter tone. They were about halfway to the area.
Kye shook his head, then nodded, but didn't say anything about it. They had reached at least an area that the explosion had reached. He looked around and tipped his head slightly. "That is odd," he muttered to himself as he crouched feeling the ground. Soot covered his fingertips as he lifted them and studied it.
”Ah! So that’s why you look familiar. You might not remember me but back in the Central Realm when you were dining with your friend from here, Matty, and your sister, I was the one who cooked there. Name’s andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer) Carter by the way, pleasure to meet you after like… twenty years I would say?” the man nodded as he introduced himself and brought up the old memories. It was back when time’s were easy.
Aisen walked up to stand beside the man.
”What is?” he asked quite simply, one hand still on the hilt, the other fidgeting with a coin. From Kye’s angle, Aisen in this sense would seem a bit cold and rigid but his radiance suggested a calm and gentle person.
Of course, easy was always a relative term. Still, Hinata smiled to remember then.
"Ah, I remember!" She chuckled once. "My sister was jealous of your talent in the kitchen. And it is a pleasure to make your acquaintance."
Kye glanced side long at Aisen then back to the soot. "I am not familiar with this kind of soot, meaning that the explosion it came from is likely from a magical basis. Judging from the composition and the sheer magnitude of the area, whoever did this could probably do it again. If not bigger," Kye explained, letting his hand down and scanning the area around them.
”I honestly don’t know, sorry” Matthew answered, dragging the corpse of the man back with him as he walked towards Adara. Matthew laid the corpse of that man on the floor when he got close to Adara. His armor started to fold back up into his wrist, where the symbol was.
Adara frowned. "Weird." She stooped down to examine the body. "One of you?" She asked, an eyebrow raised. "Nice kill, by the way. Where'd you learn to fight like that?"
The left hallway was filled with water and was stinky to the core. There were heads floating above the waters on the side of the hall. It seemed as if a mass murder had just happened around here.
Jade held in a groan and knew she had to run to get through this so she used a small spell to help with speed and walking on water then started sprinting.
andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer) smiled just slightly.
The person on the bed behind him coughed a bit. andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer) turned around before turning back to Hinata.
”Uh… sorry, give me a minute” he said with a faint smile before walking up to check on the patient.
”Bad things tend to happen a lot here, not surprising to guess that worse will come” the Knight mentioned. As he looked around the area, his eyes narrowed at a particularly suspicious figure in the distance.
”You see that?” he tapped Kye’s shoulder to get his attention, pointing his finger at the dark and shadowy figurine which was… praying?
”Don’t know him but not that it matters” the Knight replied.
”From the Knights’ trainings a while back, it was quite entertaining seeing so many different styles of fighting in the span of just hours” Matthew stated in a weird inviting tone.
”Alright, with that done, you still wanna take the tour?”
Soon Jade would find herself in another kind of hallway, one which was decorated with clocks and sand. There were the echoes of ticks and tocks across the halls. It was definitely traumatizing to hear so many clocks ticking in unison.

"Oh I love the worse," Kye muttered as he looked to where Aisen was pointing. His eyes narrowed as he tried to pick out what they looked like. Then he flat out just started walking towards the person, like he was walking over to greet a friend.
”You sure that’s a good idea?” Aisen followed nonetheless. He had his hand wrapped on his blade’s handle. As they approached the figure, they can be seen kneeling and muttering something. They were also holding some sort of amulet.
"Excuse me, Sir? Are you doing okay?" Kye asked making sure the figure knew he was approaching. He rested his hand casually on his pack.
Hey uh, kid, I just checked back into real time and….. why are we standing right next to a really mentally unstable looking person?
To try and figure out what had happened here.
So we're about to get dead.
That is an unlikely possibility, however I will not rule it out.
Comforting.
The figure did not seem to care for what Kye said to them. They continued what they were doing; saying some sort of ancient prayer.
As Aisen got closer, he grasp his shirt tightly where his heart was and was making an unpleasant expression. Soon after, he fell on his knees, gasping for air.
(Continue towards the figure?)
(Check on Aisen?)

The person on the bed behind him coughed a bit. andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer) turned around before turning back to Hinata.
”Uh… sorry, give me a minute” he said with a faint smile before walking up to check on the patient.
For some reason, Hinata was glad she was able to make andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer) smile. She guessed the person on the bed was close to him in some way, and having close to you be sick was always worrisome. She should know, she put her sister through it all the time. She stayed in the hallway, not invading the two men's privacy.
(When you realize your character isn't doing much to further the plot)
(I'm honestly trying to get her to do more)
(Hmmm…? Interesting…)
andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer) talked to the person on the bed a bit before he came out of the room, closing the door and walking down the hallway, waving Hinata a small goodbye. Behind him, as he walked away, a small pink and blue glowing butterfly followed, fluttering around him.
The hospital scent was getting quite sickening, perhaps it was time to leave. The foxes should still be where they were… right?
Soon Jade would find herself in another kind of hallway, one which was decorated with clocks and sand. There were the echoes of ticks and tocks across the halls. It was definitely traumatizing to hear so many clocks ticking in unison.
Jade looked around in fascination at the clocks. She was glad she now knew the time but she needed to get out of here.
(Worry intensifies)
Hinata waved back, watching as he left for a moment just long enough to spot the butterfly before turning away. She didn't like the smell of the hospital- never had, really- so she decided to head back to Kori and Kasai. She walked back, hands in her pockets.
As Jade walked through the clock filled hallway, she would come across another figurine who, after spotting Jade, showed a worried expression and ran away as fast as they could. There was the sound of string tension coming from behind Jade.
(Smiles sinisterly)
(you might wanna check the ‘Incorrect Character Quotes’ thing, you’ll find… something XD)
(NVM, you already saw it—)
Back to where the foxes were supposed to be, they were both gone. On the floor, there was a blood trail leading somewhere Hinata had not turned to yet.
(Follow the trail?)
(Leave the place as soon as possible?)
Hinata paused mid-stride when she saw the blood trail, different scenarios and possibilities quickly forcing their way into her mind.
I told you we should have waited with them!
Tatsuo, now it not the time for this. Hinata's eyebrows creased, and she began following the blood trail. If something had happened to them, things wouldn't be pretty for whoever had touched the two foxes.
As she followed the blood trail, she would spot the two foxes in their wolf forms, gnawing away from a corpse. The corpse did not look humanoid, it looked more like a centipede or worm of some sort which was around the size of a human.
To whom it may concern, the wolves did not look injured but they were quite savage with the corpse of the creature nonetheless; biting and tearing off pieces of meat as if they were cotton candy.
(Back away?)
(Interact with them?)
Hinata let out a little sigh of relief, glad they were okay. It didn't really bother her how and what they were eating. Still, she leaned against the wall, waiting for them to finish- it wasn't polite to interrupt someone eating.
When they reached the bones of the creature, they stopped and turned around. Upon seeing Hinata, both of them turned back to their human forms and paced towards her.
”I’m sorry that you needed to witness that, we kinda got hungry” Kasai apologized with a small nervous laugh.
”So, where’d you wanna go? Perhaps meet up with Serena?”
(If you don’t remember, Serena is Matthew’s little sister who works with Chris, the SCP-049, plague doctor scientist-looking dude)
"I would have liked to see that," Adara said wistfully, before standing. She kicked the body one last time and turned to Matthew. "Lead the way."
(Thank you, I didn't remember specifics so the reminder was nice!)
Hinata waved her hand with a calm smile.
"No need to apologize, I understand." Hinata's hand went back to her pocket, and she remained perfectly calm and relaxed.
"And that sounds good to me."
As Jade walked through the clock filled hallway, she would come across another figurine who, after spotting Jade, showed a worried expression and ran away as fast as they could. There was the sound of string tension coming from behind Jade.
Jade wanted to pursue the figure but she held her ground knowing they must have ran for a reason so she stayed and waited
Matthew nodded and started into the halls. After some several turns, they’ll find themselves in front of the exit. When Matthew opened the door, the misty land of the Labyrinth.
”So, I can take you to a lot of places… the Research Building there—“ he pointed to the distant white building ”—the Gardens where I work at—“ he pointed to the dome beside the white building ”—or the Celestial Hall there” the man gestured towards the building with a large telescope sticking out of its dome-like roof.
(The Research Building?)
(The Gardens?)
(The Celestial Hall?)
The two foxes nodded and started towards the exit. Since the hospital was relatively large, there wasn’t only one exit. As they left the building, the mist distorted the view around a little but everything around them were still quite clear to piece together. They then started to lead Hinata towards the Research Building where the young girl was…
”Why are you here…?” an echoey voice asked Hinata from… inside her head?
When Jade stopped, a tiny piece of string wrapped around her throat within the span of a second and yanked her backwards, causing her to fall onto the floor. A figure had been following her. He stood beside her and was the one who controlled the string.
”Heya” he ‘greeted’, holding a pocket watch in his hand, one which was tied to the string around her neck.
Jade yelped as she was pulled back then she saw the thing that was following her "H-hi?" her shock was all but apparent to them
