@PuffPoff
Cade shook his head. "Sorry Breeze, but you're still not fully trustworthy. I have my reasons."
Cade shook his head. "Sorry Breeze, but you're still not fully trustworthy. I have my reasons."
Silene sighed deeply and turned to her. "I tried." She said.
"When do you think the storm will pass?" She asked nervously.
He shrugged, glad that he they had stopped interrogating him. A few more questions and he might have let the truth out. "Could be hours. It depends on the wind speed."
Damn. Silene thought as she furrowed her brow. I can't do it in public. She already felt nausea and headaches forming.
"Is there a bathroom?" She asked.
Cade pointed down a small corridor. "Down there. I'd hardly call it a bathroom, though."
"Thanks," Silene said. "And I might be in there a while," Oops Silene thought. "-I mean, I don't have to go, I just have to take care of something.."
Cade tilted his head as he eyed her suspiciously. "…Alright."
Silene smiled and walked down the corridor slowly. Almost there. Once she reached the single stall she locked the door and sat on the toilet lid. She smiled as she opened her bag, revealing her stash. She sighed happily and took one out, and rolled up her sleeve.
"You know the fact I haven't poisoned either of you really should be enough to trust me," Breeze looked at Cade.
He sighed. "I trust you but I trust Silene more, and I'm leaving it at that."
"Then you should have just said that," Breeze wiped the remaining powder onto her pants.
Cade groaned, pushing his bangs off to the side. "Shut up." He really hoped the discussion was over now.
Silene exhaled deeply as her eyes rolled backwards. Pull yourself together, they're going to get suspicious. She rolled down her sleeve and leaned on one of the walls for support. Gripping the door handle with shaky hands, she exited the stall, trying to look as normal as possible.
"Something wrong with me?" Breeze stood up.
"Probably. There's something wrong with everyone. It's called flaws."
"I mean do you have a problem with me?"
Silene walked down the corridor with a hand on the wall. "See, I wasn't long." She grinned and looked at their facial expressions. "Is something wrong?" She hesitated to touch Cade's shoulder. Be normal. She remembered.
Cade nodded at Silene as she walked in before looking back at Breeze, raising his arms as if surrendering. "Not really, I just don't trust you as much. What did I say?"
"Nothing," Breeze responded, "You just felt off for a moment."
(I gtg soon.)
"Empaths can't always be right." Cade tried to shrug off the conversation. Her whole lie-detector-empath thing is going to get really annoying.
"We're not," Breeze responded, "That's why I asked you. I can't exactly control it. And I only speak about it when I feel as if it's important."
"Mhm right." Cade agreed with her for now, trying to change the conversation.
Breeze got quiet. Not knowing what to say.
