( Well, she'll just need a dress or whatever she'd like to wear. Most of the twins don't know much about what's happening, so it's okay if you don't have exact instructions. She can be walking down the halls, etc. Just be creative about it )

Who’s playing your twin
‘Is the king an acception, or are you that fond of him?’ August signed, his movements a bit more sharp to reflect his tone that he would have been using.
Charlie frowned slightly as she saw August's movements sharpen. 'He's not an exception, August. Just a friend.' She signed back slowly, confused by how August's mood had suddenly changed. He had always been kind and calm, never like this.
‘You said not to trust the nobles, he’s not in that category?’ August signed, the illusion of a smile dropping from his face, a soft frown in its place.
'I don't know what he's like yet. I'm not fond of him, and he is not fond of me.' Charlie signed back, her green eyes narrowed and sharper.
August exhaled sharply, getting a slight feeling that Charlie wasn’t being truthful with him. ‘Whatever you say’ he signed back, turning a bit to look at himself in the mirror again. Who was he? He didn’t recognize the man in the mirror.
The crowd immediately erupted in chatter and awed whispers, staring at Chakuro, and thinking that he was the most unique king they'd ever seen.
Chakuro decided he would live in the glory, until his plan with the twins went through, and exposed him as a rebel. He would be executed if they found out. He decided to request being shot in the heart with an arrow, because that was how his brother had died.
(Can I just have a quick summary of what has happened before I do anything?)
August exhaled sharply, getting a slight feeling that Charlie wasn’t being truthful with him. ‘Whatever you say’ he signed back, turning a bit to look at himself in the mirror again. Who was he? He didn’t recognize the man in the mirror.
'I'm sorry. I shouldn't have gotten mad. . .' Charlie signed, pausing to look up at him. She didn't want boys or games to get between them. She wanted her brother. 'Should we go now?'
( Not much actually. The real things are going to start to happen at the ball. )
(kk, hope this is ok…)
Olive hicked up her dress skirt hurrying around the halls, trying to get to the ball before someone might notice her absence.
August watched her movements in the reflection and let his shoulders relax, adding a bit more detail to the illusion of the mask. ‘It is okay, I’m sorry too’ he signed back. He turned to face Charlie again, giving a faint smile and a nod.
Chakuro was pushed into the center of the crowd, talking and laughing with the nobles as he ate too many small chocolates.
Charlie tried to make herself smile through the nervous energy coursing through her. She opened the door, waiting for August to step into the hall.
August followed after Charlie, walking into the hall. He reached out, giving her hand a quick squeeze.
Olive stepped inside, trying to make sure she wasn't seen.
Charlie squeezed August's hand back as they walked down a flight of stairs into the main room of the castle. Nobles, lords and princesses were scattered all across the marble floor, dancing, eating or laughing. Good posture, chin up. Confidence, Charlie. Her father's voice played in her mind as she ascended the steps next to August. Her olive green eyes were even brighter next to the embroidered leaves on her mask as she glanced over people quickly. There were so many important people. She felt so out of place.
August’s dark eyes scanned the crowds, anxiety building on his chest. He snapped his fingers to get Charlie’s attention before signing. ‘Are you intimidated too?’
Noa noticed the two walk in and slipped over quickly, wincing at a new bruise she’d gotten. “Hey,” she said to Charlie while also signing.
August’s dark eyes scanned the crowds, anxiety building on his chest. He snapped his fingers to get Charlie’s attention before signing. ‘Are you intimidated too?’
Charlie nodded as she glanced at August. 'We're the talk of the night, after all.' She signed back as she looked around the room once again.
Chakuro spotted Charlie in the crowd with her brother. Heart beating, he retreated to the back of the throne, wings comically sticking out from the throne's sides.
(My char should make a friend, she currently knows no one…)
//approach a character then, chakuro’s probably lonely rn
