Yeon chuckled as the bike took off. He enjoyed the wind that blew in his face, not minding if it messed up his thick hair.

'Sorry if my driving is bad,' said Tyler, swerving in order to not hit a child. 'I'm a bit of a freak on the road.'
“You a freak anywhere else?” Yeon commented with a grin, giving Tyler’s waist a slight squeeze.
Tyler laughed loudly, 'Gosh, you're thirsty. And yes, I can be freaky elsewhere… I've made some pretty freaky pancakes in the kitchen.'
“Practically dehydrated,” Yeon joked, and rolled his eyes at the kitchen comment. “Yeah, we’ll see about that one.”
Tyler pulled into the car park next to the soccer grounds. As he stopped the motorbike, he turned round to face Yeon and smirked. 'I can demonstrate my pancake abilities later if you want.'
“I’ll take you up on that offer,” Yeon responded with a wink, hopping off the bike.
Tyler followed after Yeon, grabbing his hand. 'We're here a bit early, why is barely anyone here?' he asked.
“This is the slums, people walk here. It’ll take others longer,” Yeon explained, walking across the lot and towards the field.
Tyler felt a buzz in his pocket, and he checked his phone. 'Alex isn't coming,' he mumbled sadly. It had been a while since he'd seen Alex.
“He isn’t? We’ll some other friends of mine will show, I’ll kick their asses personally if they don’t,” Yeon said in a casual tone as he made his way into the grass.
Tyler sat down on the grass, stretching his legs out. He looked up at Yeon, who was strolling over to the soccer field, and smiled to no one in particular. How did I manage to find someone so amazing? he thought to himself.
A car horn honked in the distance, and Yeon turned to look back at the lot, where a truck was skidding to a stop. Three other boys around Yeon’s age kept out and ran over. They greated each other with shouts and the occasional slap or punch on the shoulder. “Guys, this is Tyler. He’s going to just watch us play,” Yeon told them, motioning to where Tyler sat.
“This is Robin.” He motioned to a man with light skin and buzzed blonde hair who was a tad shorter than Yeon.
“This is Milo, Robin’s twin.” He motioned to another pale man, though his hair was slightly longer and dyed a dark red.
“And then there’s this asshole, Nolan.” He gestured to the last man, him being taller than Yeon with dark skin and neater hair.
'Hello Robin, Milo, Nolan,' greeted Tyler, smiling and waving. 'You all good?'
“We’re ready to go. Milo, Robin, please tell me you two didn’t forget the ball this time?” Yeon asked.
Robin nodded while Milo chucked the ball at Yeon, him obviously being more aggressive. “Jesus Christ, Milo, chill. Did your girlfriend go bang that prostitute again or something?” Yeon joked, and Milo flipped him off while Robin’s mouth was open in a silent laugh.
Nolan shook his head slowly and sighed, snatching up the ball. “Children. Let’s get going! I have work later.”
So they jogged out farther onto the field, splitting up, Yeon going with Milo and Robin going with Nolan.
Tyler watched them from a distance as they played football - or soccer, as they called it here. He wondered if Yeon's friends could guess that he was trans - Tyler had always had a feminine look about him.
They started off with Milo having the ball, quickly beginning to dart down the field. Nolan seemed to be one of the fastest ones, and he stuck his foot out, half tripping Milo as he snatched the ball and ran the other way. Yeon sprinted up along side him to steal the ball, but Nolan half shoved him aside, sending Yeon tumbling to the ground. He sat up and brushed himself off, shouting a string of words in Spanish. Nolan passed the ball to Robin, who kicked it sharply into the goal. Milo groaned as Nolan hollered, scruffing up Robins hair.
Tyler watched them play, laughing as Yeon went to the floor.
Yeon hopped to his feet, slugging Nolan in the arm. He looked over at Tyler, giving a thumbs up and a bright smile. “Come on, I’m not loosing to them again,” Milo said, jabbing Yeon sharply in the side as they began to play again.
He watched their every move, fascinated by how they were all so into the game. Tyler was barely even able to kick a ball, let alone play football - soccer, whatever.
The group played for about 20 more minutes before the finished. Nolan and Robin celebrated, having won, while Yeon laughed and Milo grumbled angrily. “I shoulda’ tripped Robin!” Milo exclaimed, looking at his twin
“The kid’s disabled, leave him alone,” Nolan said, slugging Milo in the arm. Robin grinned and moved his hands in quick, sign language motions. Milo responded with sharper motions.
While they argued, Yeon jogged over to Tyler, crouching down beside him. “So, I’m not the greatest,” he said with a chuckle.
'It's fine, I can barely kick a ball,' laughed Tyler. 'You did pretty well out there.'
“Yeah? Thanks. I feel kind of sweaty, though,” Yeon said with a laugh, running a hand through his dark hair.
Tyler reached into his bag and gave him a bottle of water. 'This might help,' he suggested.
Yeon took it and screwed the cap off, taking a long drink. “Hell, you are a god damn life saver, Tyler.”
