“Yeah. Digital, watercolour, and sketching. I like copic markers. How about you?”

"I enjoy drawing, but I can't afford a computer or anything, so I just carry around a sketchbook and pencil. Reading's probably my favorite thing to do though."
“Reading is pretty awesome. So is writing, though I’m not much good at it.”
"I've started writing a couple things, but had difficulty getting into it and never finished anything. I suppose ideas are better off in my head."
Lola shrugged. “That’s usually the way it is.”
"Yeah… So, um… do you like science? What's your favorite element?" What is it with you and the nerdiest questions possible? You're such a dork.
“Of course I lie science, science is amazing! And probably water. I’m studying to be a marine biologist after all. You?”
"Um… Phosphorus? I find it interesting because it's what they used to make the hound's mouth glow in Hound of the Baskervilles. It's also used in glow sticks, I think."
(K, I need to go to bed soon, one more post)
“You watch Sherlock?! That show is the heart!!”
*the best
"Well, watch and read. In the show, they used a drug and there wasn't even a dog, but in the book, they used Phosphorus and a real hound. And some weird butterfly guy…"
(Byeeeee. Btw, I'll be gone for five days. I'm going on an unavoidable trip and I will be staying up all night so I can sleep on the eleven hour bus trip. Also I'd be waking up at like five am so it's not even worth sleeping now tbh.)
(bye!)
(Bye!! Have fun)
Lola nodded along. “I haven’t read the books in, what, three years? I watch the show weekly though.”
Tyler smiled and sipped his drink. 'I just don't really think I can trust music as a solid career. Anything could go wrong. If I could, I would just do the band, but instead, I'm doing all this med school stuff. What do you want to do in the future?'
Yeon considered the question before shrugging his shoulders loosely. “I’m not sure yet. I haven’t found my thing,” he explained before continuing, his tone taking on more of a joking tone. “Lots of Hispanics join gangs, I always have that to fall back on.”
'You play any instruments?' asked Tyler, sort of joking but sort of serious. 'Our band is looking for a second guitarist.'
Yeon’s fingers drummed on the table quietly as he sipped his coffee. “I used to play a bit of acoustic guitar, but it’s been a while since I’ve played. Had to sell it a few years back,” he explained in a level tone.
Tyler began to tap a quiet beat on the table. 'I'm being serious if you want to join the band. We have plenty of guitars at Jay's house.'
“Depends, will it cost me?” Yeon asked skeptically. Usually, when people offered him things such as that, there was always a catch.
'No, why would it?' said Tyler. 'You'll be the one getting part money from gigs - and it's always split equally.'
“Mm, had to check,” Yeon responded with a wink. He liked the idea of earning money the most. “When do I start?”
'Whenever, I guess,' said Tyler. 'Of course, I would have to check with the band first, but I'm sure you'll be welcome if you know Alex. We have practice on Wednesdays and Saturdays, 6-8, at Jay's. Usually, we stay over on the Saturday rehearsals, but that's up to you.'
