"Just a few. . ." Leah responded briskly, the thought of it hurting her head. She rubbed the scar going through her left eyebrow as she thought about seeing her brothers. "I just-" She started to say, but trailed off.
Daso nodded. "How is that even possible? I didn't even know that –that the person I saw was dead."

Morrigan slipped against the wall, wanting desperately to help but the dizziness was too much. She fell unconscious.

"It's like the sirens. They see who you love the most. . . it's almost everyone weak spot." Leah said softly, looking down at her hands. "Who did the sirens show you?" She asked, looking up at him and meeting his gaze.

“No time for amnesia, Kam, this is going to hurt,” Lucian said quickly, as he began to pick into theta ping wond, removing bits of dead tissue and any crushed pieces of bone. He then took up another tool, doing his best to smooth out jagged pieces of the bone. After finishing with the internal damage, he used bits of skin and healthy tissues to sew the skin together in a closed amputation like surgery.

Kameo bit his lip, trying to keep himself from screaming. Blood dripped down from his bite and he was certain the taste would be in his mouth for days. His leg was gone. Forever.
"I'm going to throw up." Joanna muttered, hiding her eyes.
"In Trieste, we called it the Ghost Ship and it was usually a folk tale to scare children. If a ship ever meets the ghost crew, it always shows them someone they love that has passed away." Leah explained slowly, worried that the story might affect Daso. "Sometimes you didn't see them die. . . and that makes it easier for the crew to put you under their trance."
Daso stiffened, his hands clenching around the wound on his palm. "That's a fun story for kids," he said weakly. He grit his teeth to keep from reacting.

“Joanna, can you get me the box of files by my desk? I need to figure out what his blood type is for a blood transplant,” Lucians said quickly, checking Kam’s pulse.
She nodded, dashing into his office. She picked up the box. She sprinted back to Lucian. "Here!"
