(I'm rare, man)
Leah immediately regretted telling Daso the story. Even though he had always been good at hiding his emotions, she could always tell when something was off. She looked down at her hands, unsure of what to say.
"The story seems to be true then," Cicada looked at them, "I've met the ship once before, but back then I didn't have anyone I love who had passed."
( If Kameo needs blood, I mean. . Leah has blood if they match up )
Daso didn't say anything. He stared down at the bracelet on his wrist with a blank expression. Was his mother dead? Why hadn't Dara mentioned it? Did his mother really die thinking he stopped loving her?
And Morrigan! She’s also a type AB negative lol why o I know this)
(She's in the 1% of the world! With me! I'm special!
I mean, you guys are too)
(We're all special!)
(I'm sorry, I've got to go. :( I think i'll be back on in 15-20 minutes)
(I have to go too)
(Ah okay I had to delete that response)
Lucian flipped through the files quickly, stopping at Morrigan’s. “Morrigan.. Hers matches Kams. Go find her, quickly.”
She’s right next to them, half unconcious)
(Okay, didn’t know)
Lucian glanced around before he noticed her. He went over quickly, cupping her jaw. “Morrigan? Hey, come on, we need you.”
Morrigan’s eyes flew open, her vision doubling. The blood from her stomach Poole don the ground, but she ignored it, trying to sit up. “K—Kameo—dying—help him.”, she croaked.
Leah opened her mouth to say something, but shut it when nothing came out. God, she was terrible at condoling.
“I know, I know, he’ll be okay for now,” Lucian soothed, a panicked feeling growing in his chest at the blood. “Don’t sit up, Morrigan, lay down.” He helped her to lay on her back and he leaned over her. There was plenty of blood on the floor. If he could collect that, he wouldn’t have to take much more from her actual bloodstream. He lifted up her shirt, quickly gathering his tools.
Morrigan, in her delirium, panicked when Lucian lifted her shirt and tried to sit up again.
Leah opened her mouth to say something, but shut it when nothing came out. God, she was terrible at condoling.
Daso swallowed hard. He couldn't stand the silence. "So. Sirens, gangs, ghost ships, what's next?"
"Hopefully some treasure." Leah said, grinning half-heartedly. She managed to sit up and push herself to the side of the bed. "Think I can get up?"
“Morrigan, hey, it’s just me. It’s Lucian,” Lucian said quickly, assuming easily why she was panicking. He pressed a quick kiss to the corner of her mouth as a reassurance. “You need to hold still so I can help you.”
"You probably shouldn't," Daso said, "but I know better than to try and stop you."
Morrigan gave in, staying as still as she could.
Leah tried to push herself up, but stumbled back, clutching her side. The pain sent a flash of black in vision, threatening to make her pass out. "Bad idea. . ." She muttered.
"I hate to say I told you so," Daso teased, "but…I told you so. You okay?"
