“Making so much work for you.” She smiled weakly, exhausted.

"Powerful. . .?" Leah said, raising a brow. "I'm not too sure about that."
"In the past week I've seen you face down some of the weirdest foes in the sea," Daso laughed. "And every time you kept your entire crew safe. I'd say that's pretty powerful."
Leah shook her head and looked down. "I couldn't even hold my sword today. I wouldn't exactly call that powerful."

"Being powerful isn't about being strong all the time." Daso winced. "I sound pretentious. But really. Power of friendship or whatever. Your crew loves you."
(Daso and Leah’s “flirting” is so cute, it’s just back and forth compliments)
Lucian smiled faintly and trailed his fingers up and down her arm. “I hate to say that I love my job, you’re just doing me a favor. But try to be more careful,” he said.
(Goodnight I gtg)
“I’ll try my best.”, she murmured, eyes falling shut.
"I bet you could write some good books about the philosophy of life." Leah laughed, looking up and flashing a sideways grin.
(Seeyah)
Lucian smiled a tad more and leaned over, pressing a kiss to her forehead. “I’ll be in my office if you need anything,” He said softly, getting up and leaving the room. He was pleased that she would get sleep because of the morphine. He knew she may wake up terrified because of night terrors, but it was important for her to rest.

"Bet I could," Daso grinned. "When I retire, I'll write one."
His leg was gone. Ace was gone. His dreams destroyed. What point was there to live? Why should he live? The world was full of nothing but misfortune. Kameo squeezed his eyes shut. When I open my eyes, Ace will be here and my leg will be back and my mother will still be alive. Obviously, it didn't come true.
"Everyone would read your book. . . would I be in it?" Leah asked, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear.
"Darling, you'd be all I could write about," he said with his most charming smile.
(awww)
"Darling, you'd be all I could write about," he said with his most charming smile.
"God, you're adorable, sweetheart." Leah laughed, leaning forward.
Life is pain, anyone who says something else is selling something. Kameo couldn't move as he lied down on that table, listening to Morrigan and Lucian fawn over each other. I'm fricking dying and all they can do is moon about how much they love each other. He supposed that was how all of the couples on this ship were. Captain and Daso probably didn't even know he'd lost a leg. They were probably flirting right now.

(It's almost like he's psychic!)
(kAMEO)
Daso leaned it a bit too, then painfully remembered his injuries. He smiled anyway. "Yes, yes I am."
(KISSS!)
Groaning, Kameo moved to his side, completely unprepared for the pain that came with it. The motion stabbed into his thigh, making his breath come in short, rapid bursts. His blood gushed out, making Kameo feel sick and he was suddenly all too aware of the leg that was missing from his body. Stupid leg, stupid life, stupid shark.

Daso leaned it a bit too, then painfully remembered his injuries. He smiled anyway. "Yes, yes I am."
"Humble too." Leah said, grinning.
Kameo looked around for crutches, ignoring his dizzying vision. He spotted a cane leaning on the wall from the excursion to Cielo. After 5 minutes of a lot of blood, sweat, and tears, Kameo's only foot was on the ground and he used the wall to hold himself up. Pulling himself towards the wall, Kameo reached the cane after 15 minutes of hard labor. He never thought it would be this hard. His dreams of dance were just a speck in the background now, never able to be achieved.
"Always," he whispered. Her eyes were so green, he noticed. Greener than the ocean on a stormy day.
(Oceans are green now according to Daso)
Leah leaned in closer to him, gazing into his dark eyes. He was gorgeous. She sighed and looked down at his lips.
The cane was so small. Kameo leaned against it, making his way to the kitchen. He was so hungry that he didn't care if the only food was the spaghetti cake lasagna thing.
