"Colorado, I think. That's where I remember first being created, up in the mountains. But I move all over the place these days," Cyrus explained, and he had the urge to brush Erikos' hair out of his face. "What about you?"

“Britain, originally. But now I’m in the California area. The mountains are great hiding spots for someone like me, and the water tends to be pretty clean,” Erikos said before taking another sip of his coffee
Marcus gave a slight smile "thank you." his voice seemed to come from the crystal and some around it.
"Where are you from?" Castor asked, glancing up at Marcus with a curious look as he adjusted his glasses on the bridge of his nose. He honestly wished that he had put in contacts, but morning-Castor didn't know that he would be meeting a cute guy this evening.
(Aye, Cali!)
(Lol yeah, basically all my characters are supposed to be crammed into California)
"Where are you from?" Castor asked, glancing up at Marcus with a curious look as he adjusted his glasses on the bridge of his nose. He honestly wished that he had put in contacts, but morning-Castor didn't know that he would be meeting a cute guy this evening.
"Alaska, during a blizzard…" Marcus fidgets with his arm "i really don't remember much." he remembered more but… that was a painful time
(i'm not sure if i'm just being impatient but… this has been surprisingly quiet)
(Well yeah… Nothing is happening with anybody else)
(you've a point)

"Alaska. I have a friend from over there, but she said she hated it," Castor answered, noticing Marcus fidget and shift a bit nervously, so he decided not to press on. The last thing he wanted was to make the other man uncomfortable.
"yeah, never did like the cold… but hey, can't really choose where you grow up do ya?" Marcus noticed the nervous shift "sorry if i'm making you uncomfortable, i'm not good with interactions."
"N-no, no, of course not. You're definitely not making me uncomfortable," Castor replied quickly to assure Marcus. Great, now you made him think that you're nervous. "This is a great conversation, don't worry."
what are you doing Marcus? "Well if i ever do, just say so and i'll change the subject." you're making him nervous… "so… see anything interesting about this place?"
"This place…" Castor repeated in thought, moving his hand faintly as if to encircle the whole cafe and perhaps even the town beyond it. "I only moved here a couple days ago in the broken down apartments nearby, so I don't know much. The only people I've talked to are you and my landlord who tends to always be drunk," He recounted, a small smile tugging the corners of his lips up.
Marcus nodded "well, I hope that you'll find more people to talk too, only having me and a drunk will get pretty boring real quick." he looked out the window at the rain that had gotten harder. wow you sound ignorant… i swear to the gods if i have to intervene i swear i will make this hell for BOTH of us.
“Britain, originally. But now I’m in the California area. The mountains are great hiding spots for someone like me, and the water tends to be pretty clean,” Erikos said before taking another sip of his coffee
"Mhm. California is great, I haven't been there in a couple hundred years though.." Cyrus said, trailing off towards the end of his sentence in thought. He should visit there another time, see how it has grown.
“Well, maybe you should stop by my river sometime. It’s pretty nice in my opinion,” Erikos said with a shrug. He reached up for a moment, letting his hair down and looping his hairband around his wrist
"Yeah, maybe I will, now that you mention it," Cyrus responded as he watched Erikos. He wondered what the color of Erikos' eyes and hair really were, what the color of his skin was. All he could see were different shades of red, and when Erikos' wasn't disappearing from his vision, he glowed a blinding white.
"Well, here," Erikos began, reaching into his pocket for a piece of paper and a pencil. He scribbled his number down before handing it to Cyrus. "You give me a call and I'll show you around," he said with a grin
Cyrus read the number for a moment before stuffing the paper into the pocket of his jeans. He smiled at Erikos' and nodded in an eager manner, loving the idea of company. "I'll do that."
"Sounds great," Erikos said, flashing him a grin. He finished his coffee, stretching for a moment as he ran a hand through his dark curls. "Well, I should probably get going. River to guard, people to eat, all that fun stuff," he said, glancing at a clock on the wall
you know what, i'm gonna intervene because you two haven't said anything in the past 10 minutes a blue crystal begins to grow in the center of the table and Marcus tries to make it stop but he doesn't seem in control.
"Er yeah, right," Cyrus chuckled a tad. He was a bit hungry too, but he knew he would get sick again if he tried to eat so soon. God, he would kill for a salad or something.
"Well, you've got my number. Call soon, pretty boy," Erikos said, winking at Cyrus before standing. He turned to walk out the door, still grinning to himself as he walked outside
Cyrus' cheeks flushed red a tad at the nickname Erikos had given him. "Right, seeyah," he managed, looking down at his lap as he spoke.
