“Dude, chill! Why what’s happening?” Ashira asked, trying to calm the girl down.
“Dude, chill! Why what’s happening?” Ashira asked, trying to calm the girl down.
Skylar took in deep breaths to clam herself. She was overreacting, "You. You disappear at random times, that boy, he can make water, it just doesn't make sense!" Skylar looked into the girl's eyes, she probably looked crazy, "What is the meaning of all this? It started right after I saw you that night, so I thought you would have the answers.
"Oh that. You aren't completely crazy… I don't have all the answers, but I can tell you I didn't completely disappear that night. I can show you just swear not to tell anyone about it."
Skylar nodded, dumbfounded the girl really had answers for her.
Ashira looked around to make sure no one else was watching. “Don’t freak out.” She said. She morphed into a falcon then back to human. She quickly pulled her hood on and tucked in her tail hoping the girl didn’t see that part.
Skylar was speechless. So many weird things were happening now, "I have to go," she said, then ran back to her house. As soon as she got there, she locked every door and window. There were people out there like her. Maybe taking revenge on her father wouldn't be as easy as she thought.
“I shouldn’t have done that. I shouldn’t have shown her. Now she knows my secret. Hopefully she doesn’t tell anyone.” Ashira whispered.
(Hey guys just asking. What’s the setting.)
(Probably somewhere in America)

Luca checked the time on his phone. "Shoot." His mom had texted him saying that she'd be home early. He only had twenty minutes to get back to his apartment. He wasn't carrying any money, so that ruled out the subway or getting a cab. He'd just have to run. "Sorry, I have to go." Luca told Cece as he ran off. There was no way he could make it in time by taking the root he normally did…wait! There was a short cut through the park. He sharply turned left and almost fell over in the process.
Ashira started running home but ran into a boy. She fell on the ground and her hood fell off. She shook her head then got up then realized her hood fell off. She quickly pulled on her hood.
Luca staggered back. Wow another random girl with long black hair. He really needed to stop bumping into girls. Woah, hold on. Did he just see…did this girl have animal ears? With all the weird stuff happening, Luca wouldn't be surprised. "Sorry." He told her.
"Yeah, sorry." She responded to him. She wondered if her saw her ears. She also felt like she recognized him. She did! He was the boy from the alley. She wasn't sure if she should have said something or not.
Luca stared at the girl, wondering if he should ask her about the ears. "Okay I might sound a little crazy but…I swear I saw…you had animal ears." Well, she thought he was crazy now. There was no doubt about it.
"Um…" Ashira hummed. "I have no idea what your talking about." She said nervously, and unconvincingly. She was worried, first the girl found out about her powers now someone knew about her ears.
Luca crossed his arms. "Uh huh sure." Now he was certain that he'd seen wolf ears. He was so confused, but he tried to hide it. "So, you have wolf ears…" What else was he supposed to say?
Ashira sighed. "Fine you caught me. Just don't tell anyone, please." She whispered. "I already have enough on my plate."
Luca sighed. "I won't tell anyone. No one would believe me if I did." He shook his head. "It's just…too much magic and weirdness for one day."
"Wait, what do you mean too much magic?" She asked wondering if there were others with magic.
Luca didn't even bother to hide what he'd learned. "Well there's you with your wolf ears. There's the other mysterious girl with the green hair. Then there's this whole thing." He created another water ball.
"Woah." Ashira said. She smiled "I'm glad to find out I'm not the only one with magic. Watch this." She said then morphed into a wolf then back to human. "That's not the only animal I can shift into."
Luca thought back to the bird he'd seen. "Wait..you're the weird large bird!"
"Oh yeah, that would be me." She said. "I'm Ashira."
"Luca." This was the second weird girl he'd introduced himself to today. He suddenly realized why he bumping into her in the first place. "I uh…have to go. It was nice talking to you."
