(Yeah)
"No, I don't think so." He responded as he turned around. The person that had called out to him was a girl that looked about his age. She had green hair that made her look slightly ominous in the shadow. "Should I know you?"
"I don't know, I found this note addressed to me to meet them here at this time. No one else was here, so I assumed it was you," Skylar held up the note.
"Well, I think you have the wrong person." It took a few seconds for Luca to fully process the situation. "Isn't that sort of ominous? I mean, I wouldn't trust that note if I were you."
"Yeah, I guess you're right. My curiosity got the better of me," Skylar examined the boy, "Hmm…"
A gust of wind blew and Luca zipped up his coat. "Well, if that's all I should probably get going…" He didn't actually have anywhere to go, but this situation was creeping him out a little.
Ashira stood at her apartment window and stared at the sky. It was a full moon, the sky was drizzled with stars. She felt a little homesick but shook the feeling. She morphed into a falcon and flew out of her window. She watched the ground and the air in front of her. She saw a boy and a girl in an abandoned street. Ashira flew down to a building's ledge and morphed back into a human. The girl had wavy green hair with pale skin dotted with freckles. The boy had short, what could be either black or dark brown hair and tanned skin. She watched their conversation, hoping they would not spot her.
Skylar nodded, "Yeah, I'll get going too, it's way to late, or early, whichever way you put it, to be out here," she walked away, still confused. She felt like she knew him from somewhere, but she didn't know where.
"Mhm…" Luca nodded to her, not fully understanding what she had said. "Well then," He waved awkwardly. "See you around." He had absolutely no intention of ever seeing this girl again, but it was nice to be polite.
Ashira morphed into a falcon again moving closer to the girl to get a more detailed look. The girl wore a sweatshirt with jeans. She had big, dark green eyes, and was about 5'7", 5'8". Ashira flew away to a sidewalk then morphed back into human.
Skylar looked up, hearing the swoosh of a bird's wings. When she looked, she didn't see any birds.
Another person had appeared on the street. Luca couldn't see her very well from where he was standing, but she had long black hair that looked impossible to take care of. He couldn't see where she might have come from.
Skylar looked around some more, hoping to find what made the noise. As she was looking, she saw another person on the sidewalk. Skylar decided not to ask her if she was the one who sent her the note, if she did, she'd say so.
Luca looked awkwardly between the two mysterious girls for a few seconds before remembering that he was going to leave. He stuffed his hands in his pockets and began walking back towards his apartment.
Skylar and the mysterious girl stood in silence for a solid minute. Skylar got antsy, so asked the girl, "Did you send me this note?"
On the way home, Luca kept trying to control the water powers he'd previously discovered. The most he managed was a few drops. At least it was progress.
When the girl didn't answer, Skylar decided to leave and go back to her house. She was way too tired to deal with things like this.
Xander was roused by the sound of voices, and jolted awake from his sleep. He was camouflaged in with the shadows, so he was’t noticed. He was completely silent as he stayed seated, watching the people.
Skylar plopped on her bed for the second time that night. Just as she was comfy, her alarm rang. Skylar groaned, she didn't want to go to college again. Then she remembered that cute boy she saw yesterday. She got up from her bed, this time bumping her head on an overhang in the ceiling. She had to get that removed soon. She got dressed in some halfway decent clothes, and set out for college that morning.
She stayed up late into the night, looking for answers. When she couldn't, she switched off her laptop, got up and put it on her desk across the room. She jumped onto her bed and fell asleep almost immediately.
In the morning Ashira's alarm clock screamed at her.
"Get Up! Get Up!" it buzzed.
Ashira dreaded that moment each morning. She wished that for once she would stay quiet.
She groaned "School…"
She ended up going to college, although late. She pulled her hood over her ears and tucked her tail into it as well. Ready for the boring day ahead…
The whole school day, Luca couldn't concentrate. Too many things were running through his mind.
What's with the whole water power thing? He needed answers. This was driving him crazy.
Who were those two girls? He should have asked for names at least.
Luca felt himself drifting off into sleep. He hadn't even tried to get some rest the previous night, but instead spent his time researching to find out more about water generation. Much to his disappointment, he found nothing.
The person in front of her started falling asleep. Me too, buddy, me too she thought. The teacher was writing on the whiteboard, so she scrunched up some paper and threw it at the back of his head.
Luca jolted awake. He swiveled his head around to see who hit him as the paper ball fell to the floor. He made eye contact with, get this, another girl. She had a sort of ombre hair like the green-haired girl except instead of green it was a brownish color. He glared at her long enough for her to get the point before turning back around so he didn't get in trouble.
