(It IS a new thing. Like this is the same day she had the idea new thing….)
"Hey Kinesis I brought Hunter!" Firefly said as she walked through the door to the base.
Marya furrowed her brow, confused, "Okay, let's head to the kitchen. But you really have to go home." she led him to the kitchen, pulling at her denim overall's straps as her dirty-blonde hair swayed in turn with her movements. "This is the kitchen. It has food." she flicked the lights on, highlighting a dead body slumped over the table. "Shit."
"Woah," Gabriel commented nonchalantly. "You in heavy business, Mary," he laughed.
"Hi," Hunter faced where she assumed Kinesis was, "I'm Hunter."
Hey y'all, im leaving around one to go watch a play at my school! It'll last around 3 hours i think )
"Marya." she corrected him. She inspected the dead body, knowing it wasn't part of her side. The enemy. "I must've forgotten to dispose of this body." Marya sighed, "I'm just glad I didn't know him." and that he was working for the other side. "I'm a soldier, heavy business is to be expected. Excuse me." Marya threw the body over her shoulder and dragged him out, dumping him into the garbage bin. "It's where he belongs."
"Hey, you guys missed the best part so far on the surveillance cameras," I said to Hunter and Firefly.
"I guess I shouldn't piss you off then?" Gabriel assumed the obvious.
"Affirmative." Marya frowned, "I've had to deal with people who have pissed me off before. It never ends well." she subconsciously touched her locket, knowing the words engraved inside.
To Marya, with love.
"I never get a chance to deal with people who piss me off," Gabe replied, "People usually freak out and shoot or throw stuff when they watch a full grown, angry short man turn into a wolf," he snickered quietly.
"I imagine it throws people off." Marya leaned onto the table, wiping away the blood.
"Do you need help with that?" He asked, leaning against one of the kitchen walls and watching her. One thing that stuck with him between transition of forms, was the beautifully keen sense of hearing. He tilted his head in small smidges, to listen to what he could pick up from her. Her breath, mostly. And the small tunings of her voice.
"No, I'm fine." Marya tucked a loose strand of hair behind her ear, "I do this almost every day."
"Have you ever tried ramen noodles and hot sauce?" He smiled.
"It just keeps getting better and better,"
"I'm indifferent to spices. I prefer oatmeal." Marya washed the blood-soaked dirty rag in the sink when she made her way to it.
"Hey, you guys missed the best part so far on the surveillance cameras," I said to Hunter and Firefly.
"what do you mean Kinesis??" Firefly asked, locking the door with the hand-scanner.

"Watch them," I said.

"Oatmeal?" He exhaled, "Are you human? Do you even like.. like steak?" He squinted at her in disbelief.
"One must learn to survive on less that substantial needs." Marya flung the rag back into a cabinet, "And yes, I do like steak."
