Amaya had watched all this happen, and smiled. She still had some hope left for humanity, as she knew that the dog was not belonging to the stranger who rescued it. She smiled, that is what Amaya wants to do. She wants to help people, or animals.
Marya broke into a jog when she saw the building. She busted out the key and opened the door, leading them into a dim, messy hallway. "Sorry about the mess. I wasn't the only one who used to live here."
He followed her in a strong trot, shaking vigorously to dislodge seawater from his pelt. it's not too bad, he reasoned inwardly.

"Woah now, don't get water on the papers." Marya led the dog to her room, "You can stay with me." the room was gray and drab and had just a bed and a nightstand. The kind of room a soldier would have.

Gabriel looked around briefly, then left the room to find the bathroom with an air of urgency.
"Well okay, you can go out there too." Marya sat on her bed and fiddled with her hair, ignoring the feeling of attachment creeping up on her. I can't get attached, this isn't my dog! And if there's one thing you can't do, it's get close to something, because that thing could be used against you.
Gabriel nosed the door shut behind himself, andsat down in the dark bathroom. He was unable to reach the light switch as a canine.
He shut his eyes, and bore a bit of a fuzzy head, but before long he was back human again.
Unfortunately that also meant he was very naked.
He stood up and turned on the bathroom light, looking for any towels to dry and cover himself.

Marya knocked on the bathroom door, "Hey, doggie? Are you all right in there?" she turned the knob, but it wouldn't open. Locked. Smart doggie.

(Guys I just started drawing. I have no idea why, but now I have a face that actually looks good! I mean I have like, very poor drawing skills. But I just drew a really good picture of an elven face and my dad(who is an artist) just stared at in in shock for a few seconds. and then he said, "This is REALLY good!" It was hilarious.)

Gabriel swallowed, beginning quietly, "Okay, don't freak out," he started quickly, "Don't freak out," he spoke through the door.
"I have been trained not to freak ou-wait. What? Did you just? Oh my god. Oh my god." Marya was freaking out, "Are you a talking dog? An experiment by the government? Is that why Animal Control was after you? Oh my god. Oh my god."
"Stop, please—" he laughed, "R-remember? Don't freak out? And— no, I'm not an experiment, they just thought I was.. a wild wolf in the city.."
"So what are you exactly?" Marya asked, leaning into the door, "Are you still a dog or..?"
"No, well.. I guess I'm a werewolf of sorts. Except when I shift into a wolf my clothes fall off. And I still suck at learning how to turn back to a human when I need to," he responded, his voice was like the engine hum of a Honda van going eighty miles an hour down a freeway.
"We need to get you some clothes." Marya said, walking away from the door and into Luka's room. He wasn't there anymore, but he'd been like an older brother to her. She hadn't been inside his room for a long time. She rifled through the closet and ignored tears trying to force their way onto her face. But she wouldn't let them. Once Marya found some clothes, she set them outside of the door and knocked.
Gabriel unlocked and opened it just a smidge, peeking outside.
