Mari quietly crept out of her room and out of her apartment. She tiptoed to the stairs, before climbing them hurriedly. With a burst of energy and fresh air she exploded onto the roof, taking a deep breath of the cool night air. Within a few moments she was Nova, and she launched herself into the air, heading towards the spot she, Peri, and Snow agreed to meet. As she traveled she thought about the incident of earlier that day (or should she say yesterday considering it was 1 am). It wasn't fair to Kelton for her to have run off like that, and thinking back on it she wished she had just swallowed her heartbreak and agreed to go. She realized now that she had been ridiculous, and wished she could take it all back, to take back the hurt she caused Kelton. But it was too late for that now.

Kelton rubbed his eyes and looked around the bedroom. It was 1:00. Time to get up. But he really didn't feel like it; even though he went to bed early he was very tired. Against his own wishes, he stood and transformed himself into Imperium and opened his bedroom window. After almost completely silently letting himself out, he flew up closer to the clouds and cruised over to the spot they always met at.

Snow sat on the roof top they had agreed to meet on and gazed at the stars, Nova had chosen a good name, the stars were magnificent. Snow fiddled with a few water droplets waiting for his companions to arrive.

Kelton flipped over the balcony onto the top of the building, only to find Snow already there.
“Hiya, Snow,” he said very sleepily. “Nova isn’t here yet I see.”

"That's Nova for you never on time, and always loudly late." Snow commented still distracted by the stars over head.

Nova zipped up to the top of the building, before landing quietly and announcing, "Hello boys, I'm here!" She giggled as they turned, and rushed forward to stand in between them. "Ready for patrol?"

Snow smoothly got to his feet, "Might as well."

Peri still hadn't completely shaken his previous encounter with Nova, but he promised himself that he would do his best to act natural. He ran towards the side of the building, stepped up on the ledge, and fell off, then sent an energy blast downward to thrust himself up into the air.

Snow shook his head, "Peri, the goal isn't to wake every one up it's to make sure no one's going anything stupid and it doesn't help if they can see or heat you for miles around." Vincent commented quietly levitating and swiftly moving across roof tops.

He playfully dangled himself in front of Snow. "What, am I disturbing somebody?" After he saw Snow's unamused look, he added, "Look, it's not like anybody is out here anyway. And what's the point of patrol if it's no fun?"

"I don't know to keep civilians safe, insure that nothing terrible is going to happen…" Snow quitly listed off reason after reason. He was far to upset with his parents for this.

"Ah, you worry too much," Peri said with a wave of his hand. Then he lowered himself and began walking normally, just so that Snow would be able to sleep once patrol was over. "I think we should split up, then meet back here in like 20 minutes to see if anybody found anything."

"Snow's right Peri." Nova folded her arms. "The goal tonight is to be stealthy, not to wake everyone up. Still though," she added thoughtfully. "I guess we can have a little fun. After all, it's not every day we get to all be out here together with no one else around!" She giggled. "Anyways I agree about the whole 20 minutes thing. Snow?" She turned to the ice-powered superhero.

Snow blinked, he had been sensing around at the problems in the area, none of them seemed serious. "Um yah? sounds good." He was rather distracted, his eye's a pale blue, instead of their usual vibrant color. He planed on going around the entire city even if the other Supers went, he trusted them but he trusted his powers more. "20 minutes, keep in touch." He tapped the small sphere, he had incorporated it into his suit by clipping it to the collar area right where a bow-tie would be. With that he was rising over the city grateful for the humidity as he could use the water vapor and essentially 'fly' through the sky's.

“Coolio,” Peri replied absentmindedly as he split from them and headed to the left. His eyes scanned, but he wasn’t really paying attention. He was thinking about Nova, and how she’d turned him down earlier. He was thinking about how in the world he would act like everything was normal from then on. But this was professional work, and he had to keep it together for the sake of everyone that lived in the city.
