Jay closed his eyes, taking a deep breath.
Jay closed his eyes, taking a deep breath.
Finn pulled away. “Okay where should we go?” He asked.
Jay nodded slightly, sitting up again. "Yes please." he whispered.
Finn nodded and started the car again. Driving off to the nearest hospital. It’s he same one where Finn interns.
Jay was quiet, sitting in his seat with bruises on his face and on his body.
Finn parked and then got out of the car. Opening the passenger door got Jay. He led him to the emergency entrance. They didn’t seem very busy right now.
Jay grabbed his backpack, reaching out to take Finn's hand.
Finn lead him past the doors. He walked up to the receptionist who seemed to recognize him.
Jay stuck next to Finn, shaking just a little bit.
Finn told the receptionist what she needs to know. Not mentioning how Jay got hurt yet.
Jay was holding onto Finn's hand rather tightly.
The receptionist told them to take a seat. Finn led Jay to a seat nearby. It wasn’t that busy so it shouldn’t be long for them to be called in. “You need to tell the doctor exactly what happened. Before you do they might mention calling your parents but they won’t push it after you say it. Then they’ll call the police and DCF,” he explained.
Jay nodded slightly, biting his lip a little bit and fidgeting. "I-I just…I'm scared of what comes after, Finn."
“It’s okay Jay. I promise you it’ll all be alright. Worst case scenario you stay at a group home for the night but everything should be good for you to go home to your mom tomorrow. The police or an DCF agent are going to ask a lot of questions. You just have to answer all of them honestly,” Finn said. He’s seen it a few times in the hospital. At least from afar the procedure and he’d heard what happened with Willow.
Jay nodded a little bit, and hid his face in Finn's shoulder. "Okay."
A nurse came out and called them in. Finn got io and took Jay’s hand. There marks where visible and shining slightly.
Jay held onto Finn's hand, following the other male into the area.
The nurse lead them to a Small room separated from the hall by a sheet. There’s a bed in the middle. “The doctor will be in shortly to talk with you I just have to check your vitals,” He said motioning for Jay to sit down. “Finn it’s nice to meet the boy you’ve been talking about.” Finn blushed slightly still holding Jay’s hand. He didn’t mention much about Jay specifically but He guesses they put the fact that his mark was showing and that he was always asking about how to heal bruised ribs and other wounds Jay got.
Jay sat down, still holding onto Finn's hand. He ducked his head a little, embarrassed and blushing a little bit.
The nurse first checked his temperature. Finn has to move so he could check his blood pressure. Finn stayed close Though. The nurse wrote some things down and then left. Finn sat down next to Jay. “They might have me leave the room. When they question you.”
Jay nodded a little bit. "Okay." He replied softly, looking at Finn.
Finn smiled at him. The doctor walked in and Finn stood up sitting down on one of the chairs.
Jay looked over at the doctor nervously, fidgeting a little bit. He was anxious about what would happen next.
The doctor looked at his chart. “Okay Jay why don’t you tell me what’s wrong? I will have to call your parents though,” he said in a kind voice.
Jay shook his head quickly. "I can't…you can't call my parents… it's…" He glanced at Finn for a moment, biting his lip. "My dad's the one hurting me, I…" He looked down at his hands.
