“Yes, adorkable,” Vien chuckled. He reached for the door, pulling it open for Beau before making his way down the stairs after him
Beau laughed softly as he made his way down towards the main room of their old, rickety house, where his brother and another sandy-haired Greaser were sitting down next to each other on the couch. Lucky looked up for a few moments, nodding his head towards Vien and Beau, trying for a small smile before looking back to his conversation quickly. He felt a bit relieved that his brother was beginning to open up, even if it was just a faint smile or wave.
Vien gave Lucky a small wave, shuffling a little closer to Vien subconsciously. He was a little wary of the other boy sitting next to Lucky, but he was sure they were alright
Beau looked up towards Vien, giving him a look that said, it'll be alright, now that his brother seemed to be opening up a bit. He shifted a tad on his feet, humming faintly as he thought of something to say. "Do you want to go anywhere, or should we just stay home for today?" Beau asked gently, Lucky glancing over at him oddly for the shift in tone.
“Staying home would probably be b-better. I’m kind of tired,” Vien mumbled, folding his arms loosely across his chest as he looked at Beau
"I'm a bit tired too," Beau answered, nodding faintly in agreement as he leaned back against the old dining room table. He blew a few strands of messy hair out of his face as he looked towards the hallway, debating what to do. "Do you want to go back to the room? You can sleep there." Beau added, keeping his responses to the point since his brother and the other Greaser was in the room.
Vien frowned in thought for a moment, glancing over at the other greasers. “Think I’ll wait till they leave. I d-don’t really like the idea of sleeping with people around.”
"Do you just want to head back towards the room or stay here?" Beau asked gently, nodding towards Lucky and the other boy as he lifted himself up onto one of the counters, swinging his legs back and forth. To be honest, he wanted to spend some time with Vien, but if they felt uncomfortable with others, that could wait. t
"I'll just stay in here with y-you," Vien said, hopping up on the counter next to Beau as he glanced over at the couch. He couldn't help but be a little nervous. He was sure the others probably didn't appreciate him being around, even though he had only been in the house a few minutes
Beau nodded, leaning against Vien faintly as he tried for a small, reassuring smile as he glanced over at them. Most of the Greasers were quite welcoming since they all had hard pasts as well, so things in the house would probably lighten up after a few days or even a couple hours. "It'll be okay. Just stay next to me," Beau mumbled, finally speaking up as he looked towards Vien.
Vien nodded, glancing over at Beau before turning his gaze towards his lap. He fiddled with the ends of his sweater absently, not quite knowing what to do with himself. He was getting more tired by the second, but he didn't want to sleep with this many people at the house
"Beau…we're going to head out, okay?" Lucky called out, pushing himself up as he glanced over at Vien, studying him for a few moments before returning his gaze to Beau. There wasn't much menace in his gaze, mostly just a bit of curiosity. Beau nodded and gave him a quick wave as he leaned back, tapping his fingers against the counter in a semi-rhythmic pattern.
Vien breathed a small sigh of relief as he watched them leave, glancing over at Beau. "Is it too soon to ask for a nap and c-cuddles?" he asked sheepishly, smiling awkwardly at Beau as he made to slide off the counter
"And you call me a dork," Beau teased as he chuckled lightly, pushing himself off the counter as he began to walk towards their room again, taking Vien's hand in his own. A small yawn escaped his lips, reminding him of how tired he actually was.
"Hey, you leave the person who averages t-two hours of sleep a night alone," Vien said with a mock pout, struggling not to smile as they began to walk towards the stairs. He was honestly exhausted between the fights and getting kicked out of the house, and he would gladly sleep for another year if he could
"Come on, sleepy head," Beau answered softly, laughing a bit as he began up the stairs, a small smile crossing his face. After a few moments, they made it towards the room, making sure that he wouldn't trip over the same book again as he tugged Vien towards him.
Vien smiled a little at the nickname, careful not to trip over anything as he made his way over to one of the beds. He laid down on it, tugging Beau after him gently as he smiled. He normally wasn't nearly as happy or affectionate as this, but something about Beau seemed to bring out another side of him
Beau laid down next to Vien, pressing himself against their side as he slung an arm across Vien's middle loosely. He loved being around Vien, even if it meant just sitting or sleeping next to them. "I love you," Beau mumbled, pressing a soft kiss to their neck as he looked up towards Vien again.
"Love you more," Vien mumbled, already closing his eyes as he cuddled up to Beau. He could feel himself growing more and more exhausted by the moment, and all he wanted to do was be close to Beau and sleep
Beau made a faint sound as he tugged Vien closer, wrapping an arm around his waist as one of his hands ran through their hair. He could already feel himself growing tired, but he decided to stay awake in case Lucky or anyone else came home.
Vien ended up dozing off quickly, faint snoring escaping him as he held Beau close. He tended to be very cuddly when he was asleep as well, so he was effectively holding Beau in a large hug
Beau chuckled softly as he leaned against Vien, continuing to run a hand through his hair and closing his own eyes for a few moments. He sighed faintly, watching the adorable faces Vien would make as he slept.
(Should we do a time skip?)
(Probably. I'm thinking up some angst rn)
(Guess what! I'm back early! But um.. . . I leave for another five day trip on the 30th)
