"Do you want to finish the pizza from earlier?" Beau mumbled gently, playing with a few strands of Vien's hair as he hummed quietly to himself. He wanted to stay and hug Vien, though they should probably eat.
"Do you want to finish the pizza from earlier?" Beau mumbled gently, playing with a few strands of Vien's hair as he hummed quietly to himself. He wanted to stay and hug Vien, though they should probably eat.
"That'd work," Vien mumbled with a shrug, his head tilting a little into Beau's touch. He didn't want to get up right now, or at all, but he really was hungry
Beau hummed in agreement, pressing a kiss to Vien's forehead and pushing himself up after a long pause. He yawned as he slipped his hoodie off, instead trying to smooth his shirt down in an attempt to fix it as he began to move towards the staircase.
Vien stumbled after him groggily, almost tripping over himself a few times as he made his way down the stairs. He was grateful to see that the pizza he had set on the table appeared to be untouched, and he almost ran towards it
Beau chuckled softly to himself as he watched Vien race towards the pizza, pulling himself up onto the counter as he watched them. "I have never seen anyone so excited for pizza before," Beau commented, a grin crossing his face as he reached into his pocket and pulled out a cigarette.
"Fight me," Vien muttered, grabbing a slice off the tray and taking a bite. He glanced over at Beau, a brow raising at the sight of the cigarette. "Ah, you c-can't smoke that around me unless you give me one," he said with a small smile
"Fine," Beau answered, chuckling as he tossed the pack towards Vien, looking down as he lit the cigarette and slipped it in between his lips, taking a long drag from it. "You know, the first time I met you was when you asked for a cigarette at the drive-in. And when I saw part of your face from the movie's light, I thought I might as well be next to the hottest kid I have ever seen." He added after a pause, slipping the cigarette in between his index and middle finger.
Vien smiled softly at Beau's words, finishing his slice of pizza quickly before taking a cigarette from the pack. He put it between his lips before leaning forward, using the end of Beau's cigarette to light his own. "I was thinking the s-same thing. It took me two whole minutes to get myself to ask f-for one because you looked…beautiful in the lighting."
"Probably like Jack Frost himself," Beau answered, chuckling lightly as he motioned towards his hair, though his cheeks warmed faintly at Vien's comment. He took Vien's hand for a moment, lacing his fingers through there's as he slipped his cigarette between his lips again.
"No, like an a-angel. An angel way, way out of my league," Vien murmured, taking a drag of his cigarette before slipping it between his fingers. He loved being close to Beau like this, loved just talking to him
"You're the one who's way out of my league," Beau mumbled, leaning forward so he was even closer to Vien as he studied their icy eyes for a moment. He felt his blush deepen at their words, and now he was sure that his face must have become a shade of pink.
"Are you k-kidding me?" Vien laughed softly. "How in the world did the pretty, white-haired Greaser end up falling for the weird guy w-who just moved here last week?"
"You aren't weird. You're cute and incredibly nice to me," Beau answered softly, taking Vien's hand in his own, wishing that he could transfer his feeling into words properly. Vien was one of the kindest Greaser's he had met, and when they had kissed him, Beau was honestly surprised that they actually liked him in the first place. Vien seemed like he deserved so much more than what Beau had to offer. "I love you," He added, pressing a soft kiss to Vien's lips before pulling away.
Vien smiled softly against Beau's lips, his eyes full of love and admiration as he looked down at Beau. "I love you. I love you s-so, so much," he murmured, taking another puff of his cigarette before kissing Beau's nose
"I love you so much too," Beau mumbled softly, slipping his cigarette between his lips against as he leaned his head against Vien's chest, letting out a puff of smoke.
Vien let out a soft chuckle as Beau leaned against his chest. "Don't catch my sweater on f-fire," he joked softly, his free hand moving to run through Beau's hair gently
Beau hummed in agreement, rubbing Vien's sides softly as he slipped his cigarette out of his mouth and set it to the side, hopping onto the counter as he did so. "What should we do now?" He mumbled, enjoying the way they ran a hand through his hair.
"Dunno. If I had money, I'd s-suggest the movies," Vien hummed, moving his cigarette to the corner of his lip as he rested his hands on either side of Beau
"My job at the gas station doesn't exactly help our problems either," Beau mumbled, looking up at Vien as he continued to rub their sides gently, a faint smile crossing their face. "You look like a Greaser with the cigarette like that," He added on, a teasing tone to his voice as he reached up to ruffle Vien's hair.
"Probably because I am one," Vien chuckled, his smile wide as Beau ruffled his hair. "You're the one that really l-looks like a greaser, though. All leather jackets and white hair."
"Well, if I wear anything else, I would be reduced to a Social, and no one wants that," Beau answered, laughing softly as his hand moved to Vien's back, rubbing in a circular motion as he leaned forward a bit. He paused and studied their face for a few moments, thinking of something to say. "Why is your name Vien? As lovely as it is, does your name have a story behind it?" Beau finally asked, tilting his head to the side faintly in curiosity.
"It's Vietnamese. It means completion," Vien responded with a soft smile. "The last book in my parents' favorite book series was titled 'Vien.'"
"A Vietnamese name…I like it." Beau chuckled, a grin crossing his face as he pressed a soft kiss to Vien's nose. "My brother begged my parents to let him choose his name when he was ten, since he had heard that our cousin had chosen her own name at the same age. So, he decided on Lucky because he was a superstitious ten-year-old who apparently 'always wanted to be lucky.' It's a pretty great birthday present though." He added after a pause, chuckling faintly as he remembered how his brother had practically written an essay in messy handwriting in an attempt to convince their parents.
"That sounds like a good explanation o-of his name," Vien chuckled. "Mine's just simple. But that's okay, because it takes people forever to figure out how to pronounce it."
Beau chuckled faintly, nodding in understanding as he wrapped his arms around Vien's waist. "Trust me, when teacher's see my name written down, they have no clue how to say it. It's even worse when we have substitutes. For some reason, the name Beau is 'too difficult' to pronounce," He added, smiling a bit as he raised his hands to make air quotes.
