(I'm back for a little bit.)
"I didn't realize that I was that great," Beau teased as he leaned against Vien's chest, enjoying how he ran a hand through his hair. He closed his eyes for a few moments, absentmindedly tracing circles on Vien's back.
“Maybe you’re just good because I l-love you,” Vien hummed, tilting his head to kiss gently along Beau’s neck and jaw. He continued to run a hand absently through his hair, enjoying just how close they were
"That makes sense," Beau nodded, a faint smile making its way across his face as he tilted his head to the side. He let out a soft sigh and leaned against Vien, enjoying the way their hands ran through his hair.
Vien hummed in agreement, pressing a final kiss to Beau’s neck before reaching over to the table. He took a bite of his now cold pizza before setting it back on the plate
"I love you," Beau mumbled as he nuzzled his head into Vien's shoulder, wrapping his arms around their middle. His words were a little muffled, but they could be heard nevertheless.
“I love you too,” Vien murmured, pressing a kiss to Beau’s forehead before reaching for his pizza again
"You're really comfortable," Beau mumbled as he pressed a few soft kisses to Vien's collarbone, letting out a soft laugh. One of his hands reached up to run through Vien's hair as he tried to ignore the sharp pain that was beginning to grow in his chest again.
“Really now?” Vien hummed, enjoying the way Beau ran his hand through his hair. He reached for his pizza again, taking a quick bite before setting it aside
(Help I’m running out of ideas and we need angst or something)
(Hm, maybeee idk. His mom or something comes home?)
(Uhhh that could probably work)
(K and I bet Lucky is going to be pissed off that Beau left for so long.)
(I can start off tho.)
(Ye that’d work)
Beau heard the faint noise of a door opening and looked up a bit, deciding that it must have been the wind. Vien's apartment was relatively quiet, so small noises were bound to be loud. He laid back down and leaned against Vien's chest, closing his eyes once again.
Vien looked up at what sounded like a door, and when he saw his foster mother he felt his heart stop. She was standing wide-eyed in the doorway, a look of mortification on her face. “Get…out,” she mumbled slowly, obviously half drunk. “Get out!” she yelled
"Shit," Beau mumbled under his breath, pushing himself up as he took a sharp inhale of breath at the pain in his chest. He glanced over at Vien with a worried expression, unsure of what to do.
“Ms. Herring, it’s not-“ Vien started, but was cut off by his foster mother.
“Get the hell out, you worthless…thing!” his foster mother shouted, and Vien scrambled to throw his clothes back on
"Don't call him that," Beau answered, his voice level as he glared towards Vien's foster mother, who was continuing to shout things. He glanced over at Vien as he began towards the door, waiting for him to follow.
Vien ran into his room, grabbing a duffel bag and throwing things inside it while his foster mother continued to shout. He came back a moment later, grabbing Beau with one arm and the half-cold pizza in the other before shoving his way past her
Beau followed after Vien, gripping his middle with an arm to keep himself from groaning from the pain. He glanced over his shoulder, wincing from how much he just messed Vien's life up. If he had just left once their foster mother gave him the pills, they wouldn't be in this kind of situation.
“Pompous b-bastard,” Vien hissed to no one in particular, making his way towards the elevator as he struggled not to drop the pizza. “I’m so glad I started stealing her s-supplies as soon as I moved in.”
"I'm sorry, Vien," Beau spoke up after a long pause, fiddling with the hem of his shirt as he glanced over at the boy. "I caused all these problems. Maybe if I just went home we wouldn't be in this kind of situation," He mumbled, shrugging a bit as he looked down. Though, even if they had gotten in so much trouble, he had enjoyed being with Vien for so long.
“It’s not your fault, Beau,” Vien assured him, stopping to press the elevator button. “I didn’t like h-her anyways. I’ll just…camp out at the library or s-something,” he said with a shrug
"You can stay at my house," Beau suggested as he glanced over at Vien, hoping that he wouldn't resort to going to a library or outside. "My brother won't mind." He added, though a part of him wondered if Lucky had heard anything about him and Vien from the Socials.
“Are you…sure?” Vien asked slowly, stepping inside the rickety old elevator. “You don’t have to. N-Not that I wouldn’t love to,” he rambled. The last thing he wanted to do was be a burden on Beau
