"Just two," Beau mumbled as he leaned against one of the countertops, not feeling as hungry as he usually did. He didn't want to eat too much and not be able to keep it down either.
"Just two," Beau mumbled as he leaned against one of the countertops, not feeling as hungry as he usually did. He didn't want to eat too much and not be able to keep it down either.
Vien nodded, putting two slices on a plate and handing it to Beau. He wandered over to the tattered couch in the small living room, flopping down on it and reaching for the remote
Beau happily took the plate of pizza and slowly walked towards the couch where Vien was sitting, carefully taking a seat next to him. He looked towards the television, a little excited since the one at his own home had broken down a while ago.
Vien fiddled with the TV remote for a minute before flipping the channel to some cheesy sitcom. They couldn't afford many channels, so all there really was were sitcoms and educational programs. He took a bite of his pizza, watching the TV lazily
"I haven't watched television in ages," Beau mumbled, taking a bite of his own slice of pizza as he watched the sitcom. Though, he had always found that televisions were interesting for how they worked. After all, they gave him better shows that what the drive-ins could provide.
"Really?" Vien asked, taking another bite of his pizza. He wasn't the most fond of sitcoms, but they were sometimes better than watching animal planet or something for hours. "I've got tapes and things, t-too."
"Really? You have tapes?" Beau asked as he leaned forward a bit. For a couple years, Lucky and he had needed to watch the same cheesy romance tape over and over again. Beau even started to wonder if that was where Lucky had gotten his terrible flirting skills from.
"Yeah. Old clips from my home in Birmingham, recorded movies, that sort of t-thing," Vien said with a shrug, finishing one of his slices of pizza and starting on another one. He was starving, in all honesty. He had a tenancy to forget to take care of himself, and that included remembering to eat
"Someone's hungry," Beau answered after a pause, a small smile spreading across his face as he turned towards Vien. He had barely eaten anything, only a few bites out of the first pizza. His brother had constantly tried to make him eat more, but there were too many bills to pay and not enough of time for taking care of himself.
"Shush. I don't remember when I l-last ate, humor me," Vien said with a mock pout. He took another bite of his pizza, eyes flicking to the ending sitcom. He reached for the remote, skimming through channels before stopping on a NASA program. He smiled a little as the program happened to start showing the very constellation tattooed on the back of his neck
Beau laughed and kissed Vien's forehead softly as they pouted, turning to look at the new program. He began listening to the narrator and caught a few of the words that sparked a memory. "That's your tattoo, isn't it?" Beau spoke up once he realized what the constellation was, turning towards Vien and raising a brow.
Vien nodded, a wide smile crossing his face. "Yep," he said, turning his head and moving some of his dark hair out of the way to show the large tattoo on his neck. The ink seemed relatively fresh despite the fact that Vien had had the tattoo for about two years now. It seemed to shimmer faintly in the light as well, almost as if some sort of magic was going through it
Beau leaned forward, his fingers tracing over the ink as he studied the faint shimmer on the tattoo. The constellation was honestly beautiful, and a small part of him wished that he had something like that. "I love it," Beau said softly, pressing a kiss to the tattoo as he glanced towards Vien.
Vien tried to hide the small shiver that ran through him when Beau touched the tattoo. It was a bit of a sensitive spot, considering the specific ink that had been used to make the tattoo. His face had begun to heat up a little, and he bit the inside of his cheek as he tried to convince himself to stop letting himself get so flustered all the time
"Did I hurt you?" Beau asked, a hint of concern in his tone as he noticed Vien shift a little. He backed up slightly on the couch, studying Vien's expression to see if he had done anything wrong before they would answer.
"No, no, you didn't h-hurt me," Vien assured him, fiddling with the hem of his sweater absently as he stared down at his lap. "It…It kind of did the o-opposite?" he mumbled, his face heating up a bit more as he spoke
Beau nodded, relieved that he hadn't hurt Vien, though he felt his own face heat up at their next comment. A small smile made it's way to Beau's face as he leaned forward and pressed a few soft kisses against his neck and tattoo again.
Vien made a small squeak at the kisses, a hand coming up to try to hide his reddening face. He loved affection, sure, but he couldn't help but feel self conscious. Would Beau think him weird for his neck being a soft spot, even though there was a perfectly logical explanation for it?
Beau moved to press a few kisses to Vien's jawline, pausing to look up at him as they covered their face. "Everything alright?" He asked, a teasing tone in his voice as he leaned against Vien.
"You know exactly w-what you're doing," Vien muttered, his words slightly muffled by his sweater. He rubbed at his cheek a little, trying to will some of the redness away
Beau hummed in agreement, a small smile crossing his face as he pressed his lips against Vien's softly. One of his hands ran through Vien's dark hair, his dorky smile widening even more.
Vien let a soft sigh escape him as he kissed Beau, enjoying the way the other ran his hand through his hair. He couldn't help but break away after a moment, a dorky grin spreading across his face. "You taste like p-pizza," he chuckled
Beau laughed lightly, a goofy grin spreading across his face that seemed to tilt the ride side of his lips up more. He leaned forward and pressed his lips against Vien's once again, letting out a happy hum.
Vien grinned against Beau's lips, a warm feeling curling in his chest at the way Beau smiled. He moved the arm not holding his plate of pizza so that it was around Beau's waist, trying not to accidentally get pizza on the both of them
Beau tilted his head to the side and smiled against Vien's lips as he closed his eyes for a few moments, a warm, fuzzy feeling spreading across his whole body. A faint blush also made it's way across his cheeks no matter how much he willed it to go away.
