“So we don’t get snowed on Miles.” Lovino states “I mean you no harm and I will not do anything to you that makes you uncomfortable and or unhappy.”
“Thank you…” He turned into a human just to help him figure out what he looked like. “…I really appreciate it.” It wasn’t as cold as he thought it would be, and at least it was a nice, dry place. “So… you come her often? I mean, how’d you find this place?” He glanced up and around, taking a good gander of the cave.
Lovino shifted in to a human “Yes this is my hide place when people find my house,” he says his slink a tint blue because of his tiger form his eyes still sliver “and you are welcome us shifter need to stay together.”
Elton watched as the leopard looked up in his direction dammit he though while quickly trying to think of what to do if the leopard attacked.
Basil just sat down and stayed staring at the bird. Not moving.
"…Hi." Elton chirped at the leopard They don't seem like they want to attack me they are either a shifter or a leopard who doesn't like eating birds.
"hello" Basil growled back. And started to scratch the ground.
Killian shifted into a silver wolf and ran deeper into the woods
"Are you a shifter?" Elton asked dropping down to a slightly lower branch.
"yeah." He replied and watched the bird.
"Me too. I'm Elton." He introduced himself still a little wary of the shifter.
"I am Basil." He replied and stood up. "I won't eat you by the way."
"Nice to meet you Basil, and thanks for that." Elton flew down to a rock by Basil.
"yeah no problem." He replied. "I know of a dry place if you are looking for one."
"Really? Where?" He asked, the cold was starting to seep through his feathers and it looked as if it was going to snow.
He stood up. "Sit on my back and hold on it will only take a second to get there." He replied.
Elton hopped onto Basils back and sat low, holding onto the fur with his bird feet.

Miles nodded in agreement, settling down in a nice crook in the cave’s wall, protecting him from the harsh wind. “Wait… you have a house somewhere?” He was on board that shifters needed to stay together, but once someone found them all, they’d all be gone.
“Yes I do why?” Lovino asks “is it unusual for a shifter to have a house?”
Basil started running fast when the bird got on him after a minute he slowed down and stopped next to a rock. Slowly he went next to the rock and made his way into a tunnel that was mostly hidden. The tunnel may have been a bit small but once out of the tunnel they were in a pretty big and spacious area.
“I mean…” He realized how strangely his question was and said, “I had to get out of the house once I found out my mom ratted on me to the officials…” My own mom for Pete’s sake…. He shook his head. “I just feel it’d be easier to be found out if you lived in a house….” Where am I going with this??
Elton hopped off Basils back and looked around. "Wow, how did you find this place?" He asked. It was much warmer in there than it had been outside and Elton was grateful for that.
“Ah that’s why I live in a house and cave Miles and I don’t have any family that would rat it’s mostly just lost hikers” he says shifting in to his tiger form again and walking around a bit.
"I found it by tripping and falling." Basil replied and laid down.
"Oh." He laughed lightly "That works I guess." Wlton shifted into a squirrel since it was there wasn't much room for a bird to fly around and it was easier to walk around as a squirrel.
"Yeah. I was tired and not paying attention." He replied.
"Not the worst place to fall." He said climbing up to a small ledge and curling up on it.
