Lovino looks at him “hi Miles,” he give a little wave.
"Cool, I usually prefer being a leopard." Basil said replying.
Ahhh,” lovino said shifting in to a Maltese tiger and laying down “that’s all I needed to know not I need sleep to small of a body to be awake for so long…..”
"Ok and what?" Basil asked
Hmmmm.” Lovino mumbles almost falling asleep but basils voice wakes him up.
Basil shakes his head then looks back up at the tree.
Lovino falls asleep an a mouse comes and sleeps with him same for a fawn and a baby wolf. He just shifts making them lot more comfortable.
Swinging her legs back and forth subconsciously, Ana externally responded to the appearance of another with barely a bat of an eye, though she had to admit it wasn't something she'd been expecting. "How the hell did you get out here so fast?"
For now, she would let leopard boy (now rebranded in her mind as Basil) do the talking. One eyebrow rose at the mention of the new boy's age - she could shift at fourteen, yes, but not nearly as well as she could now. "A Maltese tiger," she said idly, unsure if Lovino was even aware of her presence, "That's an interesting one. I prefer the peregrine falcon, myself. And I'm-" she cut herself off as the boy shifted and fell asleep in a matter of seconds, "-wait, he's asleep already?"
(Wat.)
Miles glanced over at Lovino, then at the leopard. “Well…. he’s asleep…. what do you wanna do?” I should get out and do some stuff… although becoming a lazy-ass potato doesn’t sound that bad either….
Her eyes shifted to the other boy; she'd noticed him emerging from the cave, and now that he had spoken, Ana immediately pegged him as someone rather new to this sort of thing. She read people better than books, and to her, it was clear that he was not ready.
"Figure out who you are," Ana suggested, showing no sign of movement from her spot on the branch.
“Okay,” Miles responded to their cockiness. “I’m Miles, seventeen, basketball fanatic… what more do you need to know?” Ugh… nothing bugs me more than pushiness…
Lovino wakes and shakes off the animals as they go running he shifts in to a golden tabby tiger and looks at the girl in the tree “your name is and age if you don’t mind?” He asks.
Ana just managed to hold in a laugh; it sounded like Miles was done with her already. She introduced herself if she judged the encounter worthy enough to be furthered in that way, and meeting so many other shifters at once was rare. She knew it was entirely likely that it would not be safe to get involved, but she'd be careful. She'd just have to stay one step ahead - it shouldn't be too difficult, as that had been her philosophy for some time. "Ana, seventeen." A small smile cracked through her stoic expression. "I used to play basketball." Before everything went downhill.
Lovino shakes his head and gets up shifting into his human form his silver eyes falling on everyone “as you hopefully herd my name is Lovino and I’m 14.” He states walking over to another tree on the other side of Ana.
Ana gave a quick nod, gaze following Lovino as he walked. "You usually live in the forest?"
Yes.” He says
Ana's eyebrows rose. "Even through the winter?" She shook her head. "God, it's messed up that we have to survive like this." The use of the word survive over live was entirely purposeful.
“…..” Miles just glared at them. “I barely set foot in the woods, let alone survive in it,” He muttered. I try to live as normally as possible.
"The woods can be good for gathering food if worse comes to worse," she responded mildly, and then, seemingly randomly slipping into another topic, "Normal life isn't exactly in the cards for us the way things are."
Miles immediately connected the dots from before and felt like a complete ass. “So it turns out I didn’t have to do that…” He grumbled lowly, his face flushing a bit. He folded his arms and laid back. “I swear I’m gonna be the first to die.”
Killian shifted into a wolf again to go and check if the rain stopped
Ana's eyebrows rose. "Even through the winter?" She shook her head. "God, it's messed up that we have to survive like this." The use of the word survive over live was entirely purposeful.
yes yes I do.” He says jumping into the tree and sitting down.
Miles let out a deep breath, but didn’t say anything— he didn’t want to interrupt their nice conversation. I’ll just sit here and maybe get up to eat something of some sort…
“Miles you can come up here.” Lovino points to the tree he was in “you won’t be messing up anything.” he adds.
