Miles got a bit scared, but recognized them from earlier. It’s that guy (Basil)…. He shifted into a nice little frog and jumped onto the window. Let me in, He seemed to say. He didn’t care if they were shifters or not, he just needed a warm place to be.

Miles squirmed angrily. Take it easy! I’m not that rugged! At least, not as a freaking frog….

@Shadow_Knight group

Raven dropped the frog on the ground next to Basil. "Talk. Why are you here? And why the frick am I all the suddenly meeting shifters when I have never met one before now?"

@Knight-Shives group

( you can join in, right now nothing much has Happened. Basil Raven and Miles are in a building and Killian and Val are currently in the alley beside the building.)

@Norepinephrinxx

(And I missed another 2 pages woops)
Elton walked down the alleyway I think the guards are coming down here soon I need to hide he thought he looked around. He shifted into a mouse as 2 guards turned the corner and he scurried into a crack in the wall.

Name: Ana Mendoza (Pronunciation: on-uh men-doh-za)
Age: 17
Gender: Female
Sexuality: Bisexual
Looks (Human): Long brown hair that's usually pulled into a braid or sometimes left messily around her shoulders, brown eyes, tan skin. A pretty face that is too often described as “exotic”. Faceclaim: Seychelle Gabriel.
Preferred form: Peregrine Falcon
Preferred Form look: https://goo.gl/images/zDV6YB
Personality: street savvy, always thinking one step ahead, observant, sarcastic, confident, scrappy, a fighter (but don't ask her to fight fair; she never has and never plans to)
Backstory: Ana's ancestors are Mexican, but she has been born and raised in the city. An especially aware and witty child, she discovered her abilities at age six, but already knew some basic workings of the society by then - enough to keep quiet about her particular affinity with animals, anyways. For years, she practiced her abilities in secret and prepared all that she could, from reading survival manuals, to learning street smarts from homeless people outside her family's cheap apartment, to studying the behavior of guards, to long talks with her grandmother, the only person in her life who dared to discuss the inner workings of the world and not just what is accepted at the surface. Her grandmother's death when she was fourteen truly set her off; Ana ran away from home the day after the funeral, and has scavenged a life for herself within the city since then, forging useful connections and always, always staying one step ahead.
Other: She doesn't have one set place of residence, but tends to return to a certain roof to sleep. She loves to be in the form of her favorite creature, the peregrine falcon, but knows it is usually safest to take the form of more inconspicuous creatures. She has a habit of turning into a cat before sleeping. She's good at making alliances, as she has a few connections that help her survive, but doesn't completely open up easily; she believes trust to be an unsafe risk that could get her captured by the government, and Ana would rather die than be captured. One would have to prove themselves worthy of trust to truly get Ana on their side. She fights fiercely and often unfairly, using whatever tricks are at her disposal that are necessary - she refuses to be easily taken down, especially when she has a weapon at the ready.

(Is she alright?)

@Spider-man

(well I missed a lot)
Val looked at the small kitten. If she was in human form she would have laughed. She looked at the whole in the board up door that led into an abandoned building next to them. It was small enough for A small fox and a kitten but not a human. She signaling that they should go in.

Ana Mendoza did not like pigeons.
Ana Mendoza, in pigeon form, cooed in dissatisfaction. She had been expecting another dull day in the city, but it appeared that, for once, her expectations would be proven as incorrect.
She'd shifted from her favorite form into a much more discrete (and ridiculously idiotic) avian creature upon spotting a stranger climbing up onto the roof she preferred to sleep on, and had since stayed hidden in the shadows, carefully observing as her typically-solitary roof gradually became increasingly populated.
This is my roof. Ana would have chuckled if she'd been able to. Naivety at its finest.
Pigeons, surprisingly enough, had decent eyesight (though this was certainly not a redeeming quality; the pests were unredeemable), and she was able to catch a good few events. Others, she thought, mildly amused. She'd met a few, but there seemed to be an unusual amount around here - all of them particularly uncareful, bound to be spotted with such thoughtless changes.
And a leopard? In the city, of all places? Really?
Ana had fluttered down to a window ledge, intent on keeping an eye on these strange happenings, just in time to see a leopard, of all things, pacing about. The coo she made sounded almost disapproving.

(thanks, hope this is alright!)

@Knight-Shives group

Basil heard the bird and couldn't stop himself from walking over to the window and growling. He knew that a leopard wasn't discreet but people in this city had exotic pets so who cares.

@questioningexistence

Ana ruffled her feathers indignantly, considering possible consequences for a long moment before firmly shaking her head. She wasn't above trying to look out for fellow shifters; but if he was ratted out, she, even in this infernal form, would have a much quicker escape route.

Miles just sat there in his frog-like body, making sure not to get stepped on. “I don’t know…. maybe I want to regain my life after my mom dissed me for being the person I am?”

Deleted user

(Oof lol I thought we coiuld anyway.)

Miles made sure there was enough room before he grew back into a human. “Well, of course.” He wasn’t sure if she could understand frog or if it was just something with being a shifter.
