Raven followed. "Could we go somewhere with an assess to the roof?" she asked.

Basil nodded and walked over to the room that connected to the fire escape. He sat in front of the door realizing his fluffy paws wouldn't be able to open the door.

Raven chuckled at this and open the door for him, This looked like an owner letting his cat out except that she was letting a leopard in.

Basil walked in the room and over to the corner of the room and sat down.

Raven looked at the fire exit. That's a good way to the roof.

Basil laid down on the floor and stretched out a bit. He felt nice and warm in his fur.

Raven laughed at this. She walked over and layed down next to him. "My name is Raven by the way. I know you can't tell me yours right now but when you turn back can you?"

He nodded then unsheathed his claws and started scratching the floor.

"Ha." She said staring at the ceiling.

After a minute he moved his paw away from the area he had been scratching. On the floor read the letters B A S I L. They looked awful but it was recognizable enough.

She looked at the floor. "Bazil. Basll. Basil! Basil? Like the herb?" She asked.

He nodded a bit, glad she actually could read the words.

"Ha. A bird and an herb." She laughed. "It makes us sound like s children's band."

Basil laid his head on the ground in shame of the corny joke.

"Aaaww come on." Raven said. "That was kinda funny." She said smiling.

Basil growled in protest. Then he curled up and got comfy.

Raven started giggling at that.

He shook his head then buried it in his tail.

"Come on man." She giggled. "That was purrfect."

Basil sighed accepting his fate. Yeah he knew that for the next however long he was probably going to hear awful puns.

"Okay. Okay I'll stop." She said still laughing.

He cuddled up with his tail. He felt better and would probably change back soon.

After Raven had calmed down she looked at him. "Your adorable in this form, you know that?"

Basil growled into his tail when he heard her comment.

Raven started laughing at this again.
