Basil Turned quickly and growled at the person.

Glass. She watched the leopard's struggle with a regular, neutral pigeon expression (if they even had expressions), recalling the sound of a crash from earlier and connecting it to this. This particular shifter really did lack any sort of caution.
Her eyes widened as the tiny frog spoke, sharing in the strange girl's surprise. For all that she'd seen, this was new to her. Talking in form? This prompted such curiosity that she was tempted to shift herself, though Ana decided to quietly make her way inside and perch on a high shelf draped in shadows instead.

Basil looked out the window and saw the officers walking down the street. quickly he flattened himself to the floor. just in case they walked into the alley he didn't want to be seen if they looked up

Miles took noticed at what the guy was doing and quickly melted down into a frog again. Frick… they’re always out and about… who knows when I’ll get caught? It may not happen today, but it will eventually…

Elton crawled farther into the crack before turning into a squirrel to help him climb up the wall. Eventually after some climbing he found a crack large enough for him to fit through. He sqeezed through not noticing before the people and a frog.

Basil looked up and saw the squirrel and did a low quiet growl at it.

Noting the behavior of the strangers, Ana listened carefully to the officers outside (noting that her hearing abilities as a pigeon were surprisingly decent). The guards were not very close to her current position, and though she dared to venture outside of the window to try and hear more of the conversation, she could not make out much. Something about…big cats?
Within a moment, she was back in the room and shifting into her human form. Ana had observed long enough to know there was no fear in doing so; these shifters were likely less knowledgeable than she, and if they tried to sell her out, she'd expose them first. "Shift," she told the leopard without preamble or explaination.

Quickly he shifted not caring why then sat against the wall in his human form.

Miles was a tad confused. Don’t tell me they’re just coming out of nowhere now…

Elton saw the 2 shift Oh they are shifters too? He shifted into his preferred form and flew up landing on the old broken light fixture. Just because they are shifters doesn't mean they are definitely friendly, best to keep my identity hidden for now. he though.

"We should leave this room…" Basil said quietly knowing that the guards were walking down the alley now. He didn't want to take the chance of them looking up and seeing shifters.

Ana's eyes darted to the latest shifter, her braid swinging through the air as she shook her head. Her hand twitched, prepared to take a weapon from her belt at any moment's time. Shifters had a common enemy and objective, but all went about it in their own ways. They weren't on her side, and she wasn't on theirs.
"Don't tell me you're all planning to crash here," she said evenly, rocking slightly back and forth on her feet, eyes darting about, tensing in preparation for fight or flight if need be.

"No, I won't. I have been here too long." Basil replied as he got up and kept out of view of the window.

Elton stayed in his place on the light fixture knowing if he tried to fly down to the floor he could be seen by the guards, he didn't want to risk it.

"Just quick advice, don't shift too much. I've heard that the Officers have this new tech that can pick up on people shifting, but i also heard that it isn't operational. Just be careful." Basil said as he walked out of the room and walked over the the stairs to get to the roof.

Miles hopped to the window sill (assuming it’s open) and was ready to jump out. But, on the other hand, the room was so much warmer than any other place he had been in the past several months he was enticed to stay, despite the danger. Don’t tell me that girl wants to… kill me.

Elton quietly chirped at the frog from his spot on the light fixture Are they a shifter too? he wondered (Wait is he still in frog form?)

(Sorry I was bit busy.)
"Never have I seen another shifter before and all the suddenly a hoard of them show up." Raven said bewildered.

Miles noticed a bird from the window on a light fixture and he nodded. At least I think so— I’m unsure about the one girl (Ana) though. He leaped from the window sill and landed on the fire escape, perched nicely on the hand railing.

Elton flew out the window and landed beside the frog on the railing. I'm Elton. he introduced

Miles was somewhat surprised. Oh…. well… hey. I’m Miles, the basketball fanatic. He decided some sort of title would make him more charismatic than just being some shifter ‘kid.’ …So… what are you doing here?
