She nodded. "Oh. I think…I sort of understand how that is." Not in the same way, of course. She didn't feel that way about a single person, but more of SHIELD in general. Some of them had hurt her, but others she remembered fondly. Some apologized for how they treated her, others…didn't. "I'm sorry you had to go through that."
Klaus shrugged again, scratching the top of his head. "It ain't as big of a deal as it was before. It jus' made me more determined to not be like 'em."
She nodded. "Alright." she studied him for a moment, blue eyes searching, then looked away again. "I…we're done here. We should head back."
He gestured towards the exit. "Lead the way. I ain't got a clue how to find my room from here."
Jay nodded, and headed for the door. She waited for him to leave before closing it, and leading him through the hallways. "You'll get an ID eventually." she said.
"I was kinda wondering about that," he admitted, slipping his hands into his pockets again. "I guess things have been movin' pretty fast, though."
She nodded. "Yeah. It might take a day or two or three, and you won't have very high clearance. Not for a while, anyway." she glanced at him, still walking.
"Better have enough clearance for the lunch room," he said, speeding up slightly to keep up with her.
(Hey, EmptyNebula, are we going to fast for you to keep up?)
(gtg to bed. Good night!)
She laughed softly. "Oh you will, don't worry. And the gyms. And your room. And…" she shrugged. "I don't know what else."
(oof I've just been watching from the sidelines since I don't know what to do with Sebastian)
(oof uhm…hmm. Maybe he can come visit SHIELD or something? Idk)
"Huh. What else do they have here, anyways?" he asked, rubbing his hands together. He was already getting bored.
Teddy brushed some grime off his hands in the sink, scraping some blood out from under his nails. "Hmm, I suppose I must be getting another sitter for the boys…" He muttered, nodding his head and setting a reminder in his mind. The other sitter was a spy for another group, he had tried to kidnap Teddy's little brothers and that wouldn't stand.
She blinked. "Books. Movies. Uhm…" She shrugged a little. "I don't know. There isn't much to do."
(Yo Ice, should our villains meet?)
(ooh maybe. I'm thinking for Ahren that he's going to like…pretend to be a good guy and infiltrate the group, only for it to turn out that he's a bad guy? So maybe he and your bad guy are working together, Ahren from the inside, yours from the outside?)
"Why don't we….go out for dinner? You know, to celebrate the new team comin' together?" he asked. It's only you two. It's basically a date. Why are you askin' this girl out on a date?
She blinked. "I…would have to ask permission." She replied slowly. "So…I don't know." She glanced at him, then away again. This is going to be hard. He's used to more freedom than he'll get here. And he'll have more than I do.
When they reached their rooms, there was one of the inters waiting for them.
"Fury wants to see you, Jay," he said, speaking to her as if she was an equal. "I'll show the kid around."
(alright cool.)
Ahren rolled the coin over his knuckles, then caught it. He knew his plan, he just needed to work with someone else. Someone not from HYDRA. It tired him so much, sometimes, HYDRA. Always needing to know everything about what the blond was doing.
Jay looked up, and nodded. "Oh. Alright." she gave Klaus a small smile. "Good luck." she walked away, heading to Fury's office to speak with him.
Teddy headed down the stairs of his house, going to the kitchen and waving at his little brothers. "Hey kiddos, I'll make some chicken nuggets for dinner." He hummed, getting some things out of the pantry and freezer.
(would he know how to get ahold of Teddy?)
Ahren finally sighed. He got up off the bench he had been sitting on, and starting walking, humming under his breath. He didn't know exactly where he was going, but he didn't care.
(Yeah, he's worked with HYDRA once, so Ahren could probably get the file.)
