Klaus shrugged, an awkward motion when he was in mid-stride. "That's just what I called it, my bad. Which one are you, then?"
Klaus shrugged, an awkward motion when he was in mid-stride. "That's just what I called it, my bad. Which one are you, then?"
"…both." she replied after a moment, her face carefully neutral. She slowed to a stop, opening the door of one of the training rooms.
"I wish I had either," he said, panting slightly as he put his hands on his sides and walked through the door. "'Cause you make me feel unathletic as hell."
Jay grinned. "I make most people feel that way." She replied easily. She turned away from him, pulling her shirt off to reveal an athletic bra beneath (don't actually know what they're called but you get the idea lol). She was lucky her pants/leggings went high enough to cover where her belly button was supposed to be. "Come on. I'm supposed to see what you can do." She beckoned him over.
He let out a grown, wiping a thin bead of sweat from his hairline before willing Amity to come out. The tendrils seemed to wrap around his body unwillingly as he lowered down into a decent fighting stance. Klaus was very happy she couldn't see his face, since he was blushing a deep red when she turned around.
Jay gave him an appraising look. "Hm. Come on to the wrestling mat. I don't want to throw you onto the floor." She gestured him into the wrestling area. "Also, don't you dare go easy on me. I want everything you've got." A faint blush flickered on her cheeks. "Er, fighting wise. You put a hand somewhere it doesn't belong, and I'm breaking your wrist."
"I wouldn't expect nothin' less," he growled, following her over to the mats and replicating his stance.
"Same follows for if your symbiote grows tentacles. I don't do kinky shit like that." She waved a finger, falling easily into a fighting stance.
"It isn't like that," he said, his eyeroll evident in his voice.
He charged forward, feigning with his left arm and lashing out with his right leg.
"Good." She replied with a laugh. "Ooh, feigning!" She exclaimed, blocking both blows rather easily, before throwing a quick one two punch. "Although you're very obvious with your movements. Use your brain, not your body."
He took one of the punches to the chest, but managed to avoid the second by twisting away.
"I wan never taught how to fight," he grumbled, putting a hand to his chest. "Everything that I've learned was from street fighting."
Jay shrugged. "Mm. I can tell." She replied, kicking out with her right leg. The one thing he had on her was height. He was much taller than she was, which, once he was better at fighting, would be a huge advantage for him over her.
The symbiote's instincts took over as it forced Klaus to leap into the air and pull his knees to his chest. Then it shoved his right leg out towards her head at terrifying speed while still in mid-air.
Her eyes widened, and she dove under, rolling back into an upright position. "Yes! There you go!" She cheered, an infectious grin on her face.
"Wasn't me," he growled, landing on his feet and spinning around to face her again. "That was all Amity."
"Well, Amity has good instincts." Jay replied, still with that grin. "Even if he doesn't like me." She leapt towards him, throwing a punch at him.
Klaus, trusting Jay's advice, let Amity take over. It side-stepped the punch and flung a web at her ankle, yanking her off balance. Then it leaped forward and kicked out with its left foot at her chest.
Jay yelped as the web tugged her over, then started to laugh, throwing her arms up to take the brunt of the kick. She didn't want bruises on her chest. That would be…difficult to explain. She fell when the kick hit her, and rolled to the side, using her momentum to push herself back onto her feet. This was why she had taken her shirt off. So that the loose fabric wouldn't catch on anything and distract her. She threw a kick towards his thigh.
It connected, but that's what the symbiote wanted, With a snarl, it grabbed her foot and yanked her off of her feet, tossing her into the wall to the left of them.
Jay let out a startled oof as she hit the wall, crashing to the floor. She lay still for a moment, assessing herself for damage, then got up, sending blasts of ice shooting at Amity. So that's how he wants to play…
It let out a yelp as its arm was pinned against the wall, and then it's leg. This ice was much thicker than the ice on the building, giving it issues as it tried to yank itself free.
Jay gave another grin, coming closer and closer as the ice kept pouring out and enveloping the symbiote. She was careful not to make it too cold, she didn't want Klaus to have frostbite.
(Gtg to bed soon)
"Am I allowed to tap out yet?" Klaus asked as the symbiote slowly retreated from the ice on his body. It absolutely hated the cold, basically its only weakness.
Jay tipped her head. "Depends. Do you have any more tricks up your sleeves?" She replied. She could feel a bruise forming on her arms, and where her body had hit the wall. She didn't mind. She had been injured work before.
"I don't, actually," he said with a shrug. "You figured out my weakness. There ain't much I can do, now."
