Lillian spotted him sitting on a bench. He looked like he was crying. She walked up slowly and quietly sat beside him.

Darren noticed Lillian and scrambled to make it look like he wasn't crying, even though she already saw him.

Lillian looked at him. She stifled a laugh watching him scramble, "Are you okay?"

"I'm fine!" Darren said quietly so she wouldn't hear his shaky voice.

Lillian grew slightly concerned, "You can trust me. I won't tell the others."

"I used to believe in God you know. I thought you could pray to him and he would fix things for you 'cause he was made of love or something…" Darren sniffed
