"They did this to you?" Darren's face had lost it's 'good morning' smile, now rage was painted across it as he raised his hand and brushed away Lillian's hair from her eye.
"They did this to you?" Darren's face had lost it's 'good morning' smile, now rage was painted across it as he raised his hand and brushed away Lillian's hair from her eye.
Lillian rolled her eyes. Her face growing a bit red, "No, the neighbors did. Of course it was them!"
"How- what happened?" Darren held her face in his hand
Lillian got quiet, "They want me to quit theater. I said no, and then my mom got angry and did this to me."
"You shouldn't go back there!" The concern on Darren's face only grew.

(That's sound like me irl)
(That is me irl.)
"Where else am I suppose to go?" Lillian asked. Her eyes were sad, she had already accepted this fate long ago.
Paige returned home, washed her face, changed clothes, and drove to school. She walked into first period. Alek wasn't here yet, but Darren and Lillian were. She went over to say hello but saw Darren's expression. Her eyes, in turn, flickered to Lillian. "Oh my gosh, what happened?" Paige asked.
"You can stay with me or we can figure something else out, but I can't let you go back to them."
Darren paused and but his previous smile back on his face, "Good morning Paige!"
(Lloyd decides that he should teleport into the school because he probs isn't supposed to be outside)
Lillian nodded. She got quiet when Paige walked up to them, "Hi Paige, it's nothing.
"We should go to class," Darren interjected to avoid an awkward confrontation.
"Oh, ok. Yeah, that looks like nothing, Lil. I get it. If you don't want to tell me, fine."
(Too late, it's awkward.)
Darren was apparently ignored and the confrontation became awkward.
(lol)
(Welp.)
Lillian felt guilty, but she didn't want to get anyone else involved in her issues. She looked to Darren, "Yeah, we should get to class."
Darren turned red at the sudden attention being throw his way then wordlessly turned around and walked into school.
Lloyd was already sitting in class because he is oblivious to the fact that things are happening to his friends. He does not notice Lillian's bruise because he has seen many battle scars and quite frankly he doesn't care. Lloyd is reading The Book Thief because it is good.
Paige backtracked and walked off. She doesn't trust me. Paige wasn't looking where she was going and ran into someone coming around the corner. "Sorry," she muttered, but then she looked up and her face hardened.
Lillian followed after Darren, head down and hair covering the bruise. Oh how she wished she had make-up at home.
Darren turned to Lillian when Paige had walked away. "If you won't take me up on my offer of staying at my place then you should give me your number. If anything happens no matter what time it is, I'll be there for you."
Lillian looked to Darren. Her eyes swirling with worry, "I'll give you my number, but I don't know if I should stay with you. I don't want you to get in trouble because of me."
